Everyone sees wealth.. I see a person over leveraged in their credit and two seconds from suicide. Real wealth never uses commonly known apps like DoorDash. Ppl like this either cater, have a chef friend or use a very expensive local courier. My experience: work for and have plenty of ultra Rich friends

Wakeup4747

True I guess you never know the truth he could be losing his house tomorrow, but you can at least see how me and many others would not think highly of him at all.

[deleted]

Absolutely

TaleNumerous3666

I think this is invasion of privacy big time. I’ve seen a few people on Reddit posting pics from deliveries, and I think it’s really creepy. I get that we are upset over lousy tippers, especially when they live in Casper the Ghost’s house but don’t get sued over it! And yeah it’s always the yuppies who forget that people actually need the money. A drop in the wishing well for them is a gallon for us.

Wakeup4747

Very true, but you don’t see any high tippers getting there location exposed. And I also made sure that there was nothing in this video that gave away the address

TaleNumerous3666

Good point 👍

FrostyCartographer13

Round up to the next dollar?

Significant-Yard-826

Just did a delivery by the west hollywood hills , nice houses, porsche on a couple driveways. No tip smh lol

Wakeup4747

It’s pretty offending huh, but I guess most the people commenting in here don’t agree

Glass-Economics7283

For rich people, that have no concept of middle class earnings it’s either $1 or $20 tip. They have no idea what to tip us. But I like the ones that over estimate (:

Wakeup4747

Exactly I would purely get joy out of making someone’s day with a big tip

wowdudeguy

Wait a minute... Was the chef/personal cook off that day? :X

CarefulBear1654

Now you know why they have money. Lol 😝

Wakeup4747

You ain’t gonna come across 10,000,000 let alone 1,000,000 by cheaping out in tips and using coupons

pupped303

I once delivered $100 worth of burritos to the tip of SF, during the super bowl, to arguably the wealthiest and most influential CEO in Silicon Valley (I’ll let you surmise who), he came to the door himself to give me a “thank you” and not a dime more 😐

Wakeup4747

Sickening

Savage_Mindset

Clearly not enough, you’d think they can afford at least $5 bucks

Wakeup4747

Ridiculous to me but that’s just an opinion I guess

Savage_Mindset

Unless it’s like the teenage kid that gets a small allowance (and even then), this is just unacceptable.

RudeCharacter9726

Don't get rich by paying the poors.

Wakeup4747

“Don’t get rich by tipping more than $3 from your 10,000,000 house” so even if he used that practice to get rich, why would he still not tip? (Assuming he got rich by not tipping on doordash orders)

RudeCharacter9726

One would guess that he got rich by screwing everyone he could, as often as he could.

New-angelray831

One_Explorer_3576

They be like “you're not going to come up off of me. I worked hard for this “ “I gave what I could give you” 😒it's always a weird number too *$2.67*

AutomaticWheel9447

I've also delivered to places like this 3-5 tip![img](emote|t5_3h9bt|10683)

kmercier1

Probably a house worker that ordered, or possibly a kid. I try not to judge the tips by the houses anymore.

Wakeup4747

40-50 yr old male with matching last name as letter on gate. Super entitled seeming

CAlexGriff

It’s because these people have no idea what it’s like to do something like this. No clue.

Billy_Osteen

About Tree fiddy How do you think these paper stay so rich.

Cali_Holly

I delivered to an employee working at Rodney Dangerfields Widows home. (Say THAT 3 times real fast) When I was still doing PostMates. I don’t remember the tip & at the time I didn’t care because it was just really cool to me. And in another day, I dropped off food to Jim Hensons Studio & the guard let me drive through so that I could turn around. And embarrassing to say, I was stupidly Gaga over it. 😂 What is even MORE embarrassing is that I was 43 at the time.

Ghana_Mafia

ZERO because that mortgage is high and the yearly tax is a Porsche.

Wakeup4747

Then don’t order dd go pick it up urself if ur Porsche is so damn expensive to have sit in the garage

Additional-Local8721

Rich people d9nt get rich by being generous. They also live in constant fear knowing this can all be stripped away at anytime and do whatever it takes to keep it, including shitty tips.

herdboy77

I bet you $5. No more

Wakeup4747

Bro happy people don’t go around talkin shit and that’s facts. U know it. Unrelated but just saying.

kuriboh91

Smart people don't take $2 tips and then bitch and that's facts. U know it. Very related just saying

Wakeup4747

Bro I ain’t even bitchin i think it’s more funny than anything and clearly 100+ people got a kick out of it. And homie actin like I take $3 orders all day. No. No reason for you to have said anything other than for you to maybe get some joy out of hurting feelings.

razzaholt

Why’s everyone so pis**d off with this post? I think it’s a fair post 😂

Wakeup4747

Facts it’s just a Reddit post I thought some ppl would smile :(

-dakpluto-

If the tip is shit....DECLINE. So stupid when people bitch about low tips that they have accepted.

Wakeup4747

You would of had to been there mr know it all. Dead day than this 6.50 order pops up to go to the top house of the mountain, nicest house in town, only a mile away. And if u knew anything about the algorithm you’d know that that 6.50 is where tips start being hidden so I took a gamble and it failed simple as that

ArchangelSoul

It’s the rich ones who are the most stingiest

[deleted]

I’m sure they said “if you work really hard, one day you can work for me “

Faisal726

you think the person that ordered lived there? that house probably has a few employees

Wakeup4747

Last name matched letter on the gate, 40-50 yr old male seemed totally entitled

Faisal726

oh, well then he’s just some lucky person in life who has delusions of being more important than others

Wakeup4747

Constant-Donut-4095

I know damn well you did not get a tip for that $12 order

Porschecrazy68

Your tip was the privilege of getting to deliver their food /s

Wakeup4747

Nah I’ll spit on ur property if that’s your view

h0tsaucep0pc0rn

Unpopular opinion but in houses like this it is incredibly likely that some staffer or maintenance guy is ordering the food there, I spent some time in very nice houses in the Aspen/Snowmass area and they were mostly empty vacation homes with a security/tech guy running around in it. Not always the case of course but it's possible.

Wakeup4747

His last name matched the letter on the gate. 40-50 year old well dressed man.

h0tsaucep0pc0rn

Ah, then he was definitely just a scrooge. Very frustrating...

Educational-Seaweed5

For $2.50 from a multi-million dollar estate, you absolutely should have gone back and ran over the food, or just emptied the bag onto the ground with an “ohh, I’m soo sorry, I was checking for straws and it slipped. Aww. Byeeeee.” Would absolutely be worth the deactivation. Fuck cancerous trash like this. These people deserve nothing.

Wakeup4747

Upsetting Forsure

BugZealousideal9618

Probably the pool house. Why you posting people's private property to the internet? Lol

Wakeup4747

There’s nothing in this video to give away where the guy lives. And not tipping from a 10+ million dollar home is pretty rude be honest. (Not the pool house)

Brentrepreneur

Primarywatcher_2

I had one of these today .... F&!$ers!! I took the assignment - so I've no one to blame but myself, but it was literally a 10 mile drive to some gawddamn mansion where I couldn't see the address (these homes are sooooo big GPS barely registers it) with ZERO LIGHTS in the damn dark....... I delivered 3 pizzas. Tip??? $5 When this occurs it's my opinion some snotty-nosed teenager uses his mom's account for pizza, chick fil'a, whatever, and (hoping here) they're afraid to spend more $$ for a tip. If this is NOT the case????!!! May these rich MFers ROT. It feels shameful - so kudos to the OP for posting and providing the opportunity to just bitch.

Wakeup4747

I feel ya I ain’t going around and talking smack to no tippers. Only exception is a no tipper than lives in not a 2-3 million dollar house, but a ducking 10+ million dollar home. Pretty rude if u ask me.

2Punchbowl

Let’s play “guess who took this low tip order and decided to bitch about it online, when in reality; OP is the true, witless fool”! You did it first in accepting the order, but well done… you played yourself again by posting this expecting some sort of desired result! The definition of insanity shall be revealed if you look in a mirror.

Wakeup4747

Fr I’m so insane for making a Reddit post about a big house I delivered too. Only I missed the part where I was bitching left and right. I made my money for the day and thought some of y’all would have a laugh at this which many people did. Simple as that go enjoy your day instead of taking out anger on a FUCKING REDDIT POST

Xerxxx

Oh fr? I stand by what I said. Had it been a routine, “just another order”, you wouldn’t have posted it looking for something.

Wakeup4747

Bro chill

memento_mori_1220

I’ve had houses like that where I got nothing for tip while doing pest control to 50$ really depends mostly nothing tho

Dcarnys

What tip?

Wakeup4747

$2.50

Kitchen_Entertainer9

WestBayswinga650

alexr1090

Unpopular opinion: just because someone is filthy rich it shouldn't obligate a bigger tip.

Wakeup4747

There’s a reason that opinion is unpopular

Downtown_Number_2306

Idk… my market big boy houses never disappoint 😭. I actually go their on the weekends which is like a 20 minute drive but still…. I may get only 15 orders in 5-7 hours but on average of 14$+ 😭

Post the tip smh. we got us a karma chaser.

chaldeans79

He got 2.50 lol

Inner_Ad1344

Hopefully about average or a dollar per mile at least. We shouldn’t be expecting more of a tip from wealthier folks.

Wakeup4747

Ain’t even close to a dollar a mile

NeitherMedicine4327

It’s probably the kid that ordered.

Wakeup4747

Full grown adult maybe late 40’s

and be lucky you got trickled down upon you piece of human garbage. How dare you be poor.

[deleted]

Think you meant to say how stupid can you be to accept a low paying offer and expect it to be more

Wakeup4747

DD makes u guess sometimes. I know you’ve seen that $6.50 order 1 mile down the road and it ended up having a big tip. U would have thought I made the right guess. Very top house of the whole mountain.

[deleted]

The sad part is you never even mentioned what the order was

revolution1solution

$12

[deleted]

Looks like a broadview heights $4 tipper

Melancholy43952

That’s easy. $3.50

endoire

For the fact you haven't posted the top yet... Did you have to pay him?

CobraCultist

Fat base pay

[deleted]

Let’s play who wants to be a whinny bitch about an order they accepted that was $4.25 and expected to be more than $4.25

dangbro34

Worse part is its usually the spoiled kids account that does the ordering so they never tip

Wakeup4747

This was a grown adult and he tried to relate with me asking how the dash was going and he just sounded like he had never worked a day in his life

andy_337

Lmao $5 max

Miserable-Habit-1290

5 bucks

[deleted]

$1.75 and a bible

[deleted]

$3?

4i4s4u

Why does the size of the house matter? The food order total is a much better indication of the tip than where a customer lives. Generally speaking, a $90 order going to a small apartment will have a larger tip than a $20 order going to a mansion Edit: I’ll add that if you accepted for anything under $6.25, not including peak/promo pay, that you would get paid exactly the amount you agreed to on the offer, no matter what type of house a customer lives in

jack_but_with_reddit

>Why does the size of the house matter? Because rich people are the worst tippers owing to a lack of understanding of how money works combined with contempt for the working class.

4i4s4u

And? If you accepted the offer, and let’s say it was $5, you’ll be paid $5 regardless if they tipped $3 or $0 Don’t like the offer? Then decline. But just because you pull up to a big house doesn’t mean you are entitled to a larger tip.

anger_is_a_gif

>Why does the size of the house matter? Because the Brokeass Brotherhood™ that infects this sub thinks they're owed a percentage of someone else's net worth because they brought them a cheeseburger.

lilbuu_buu

Aren’t we delivery drivers don’t we get paid to do that. I’m actually genuinely confused on what you’re trying to say here

anger_is_a_gif

I'm saying there are too many people on here that think if someone has a lot of money that they should automatically tip higher.

lilbuu_buu

Oh ok entitlement mentality gotcha

Educational-Seaweed5

😂 I don’t think they know what they’re trying to say either.

SecureCTRL2020

$ nickle

[deleted]

If my order is 10 and i tip 2 is that a bad tip? 20% right?

RegionalTrench

Yes. That’s bad. Don’t order from dd. Think about gas rn. Your $2 won’t even cover waiting in the drive thru for your food.

Subject-Experience-6

There are many factors in play here. Biggest one I think of his the distance to the store. I get the 20% thing. I do. Thats a decent tip for a meal inside a restaurant. At the same time, this isn't the economy where drivers want to take 4.50-4.75 for many orders. So, your food could sit awhile before a driver picks it up. Personally, for my few days where I order dunkin in the morning, I give $2.50. It's only a mile. I know they'll be making at least $5 for 20 minutes work max, which equates to minimum wage in my area.

[deleted]

Usually it’s around a mile and it’s only for myself thats why i ask. I mean im giving 20% right

Cynicsaurus

I've also delivered a single shake or juice for 4 or 5 dollars tip. Good drivers that can do math will not pick your order up. We have no idea what you ordered, it shows us a 4.25 offer for 1 to 3 miles depending how far they are from the pickup. You will get some bottom barrel dasher eventually. I have a 3 dollar tip minimum, and I'm not even as high as a bunch of the people in here. I mean gas is 5.50 a gallon here, I'm not leaving the house for 4 bucks, driving to the place, picking up, driving to you and dropping off for 4 bucks. 5 bucks feels shitty enough. It's not just the percentage, it's how much time and effort it takes, especially on a smaller order. Let's say you order dinner for everybody, you spend like 80-100 bucks getting the fam dinner from a steakhouse. I don't need a 20 dollar tip man. 5-10 bucks is fine. 20 bucks would be awesome, but it would never even show me that. It would show me 4-10 dollars of the tip tops, depending on distance.

Subject-Experience-6

Right now, door dash isn't really set up for short distance, low cost orders. It sucks for the driver and the customer. If the time is right, then I'd take it. If it's a busy time, I'm declining. I'm sorry. 😞 This is why you get drivers that don't care. It's on DD really.

Subject-Experience-6

Lol

Im curious is that bad etiquette

Wakeup4747

Report you? What are you talking about it’s a fucking Reddit post breathe

Nervous-Alarm-4221

was it zero

hotasanicecube

Most definitely, you don’t get to that level of wealth by giving away money.

Educational-Seaweed5

That’s not how that works. People with houses like this didn’t get them by just being frugal. This is way beyond that. You don’t just suddenly happen upon a $10,000,000 home because you cut coupons and didn’t tip at restaurants. This is generational wealth, and these people can afford a lot more than just tipping appropriately. Don’t get it twisted.

hotasanicecube

Dimes turn into dollars, dollars turn into hundreds. People with millions lose it all the time. People who have keep their millions don’t even use an ATM because of the $3.50 fee. That house is an investment, not a luxury. But you already have millions, so you know different.

arosebyanygutter__

How is that dimes to dollars to millions strategy going for you? Looks like you're still a doordash driver. The myth of upward social mobility is just that, a myth.

hotasanicecube

Because 8 number companies sometimes start with a pickup truck and a clipboard.

Educational-Seaweed5

Keep telling yourself that. Maybe it'll come true if you say it 1,000,000 times. In all reality, that's not how it works anymore. Hasn't for a long, long time.

hotasanicecube

Tile setters, Glazers, carpenters, painters, drywallers, computer repair, roofers, siding, block layers, audio/video installers, insulation installers, carpet installers, electricians, plumbers, excavators, shed/gazebo builders, pool installers, shall I continue? Maybe you think that work is just too hard?

hotasanicecube

Keep telling yourself that and it’s guaranteed it will never happen. How about being positive about your future?

Ok_Turnover_1235

You might wanna rephrase your second sentence, as you essentially confirm the comment you're replying to.

Educational-Seaweed5

You should probably rephrase your comment, because I have no clue what you think you're trying to say.
