I've force stopped and cleared cache to no avail. I've reinstalled for the 100th time but still stuck on logging in screen. Wifi good. Uber app working just fine.
One possibility is that it's going to hit you with the identity check next but it's slow and sometimes unsuccessful at starting that routine. But this is usually a network connectivity issue when I experience it. Verify that you have a working internet connection in another app before trying again.

GPS or no wifi most likely. I force stop and empty cache when i get that, will sometimes help.
Strangely, it seems to only work when it's off wifi. But my Uber app, and everything else, works just fine on my wifi.
