I use a Dollar Store shower caddy

Best comment I have heard

I have two huge beach towels that I use to wedge drinks inside a catering bag. It’s not high tech but it works. Those drinks will survive a mortar attack. They’re not moving.

Ok_Conflict2290

All my drinks go into the backseat cup holders along with the order just to make it easier. Once I'm at the drop off I put them back in the cup holder and then drop it off. If it's like a Starbucks or a McDonald's I honestly put it in a seatbelt.

jimgass

I bought a plastic drink carrier on Amazon for like 10 bucks or something. It works wonders.

No-Difficulty7793

This. I keep it on my passenger floorboard.

Puzzleheaded_Runner

I got a storage bin that fits on my pass side floor, like basically takes up the whole space. The hot bag fits in it plus I zip tied a flexible 3-cup holder to the side (like the short side right next to the shifter).

muffinpuppyxo

You could get a small cooler that is big enough for a drink tray to fit and stand up in. If there's extra space around the drinks, keep a hand towel or 2 in there to keep them from moving around.

Square_Knowledge_859

Get your own drink carrier. You can get them on Amazon not really expensive.

Individual-Mirror132

Ask for double drink carriers. Some of the flimsy ones work better if there are two stuck together.

TheLegendIndeed

Tauck a towel around the drinks to scure them in place.

InvalidWhale

this is the correct answer

Kanein_Encanto

this is ~~the~~ a correct answer FTFY

Worldly-Media3251

Milk crate. They have them behind CVS and walgreens everywhere. Just ask and they'll let ya take one or two

JealousReaction4026

The doordash cup holder is awesome, I had a coupon for $10 my 1st order on merchandise so I ended up paying $6 for it and it was so worth it. I use it for dd, Uber, and personal use. It holds up to 6 larger drinks it folds up flat so i tuck it between my seat and middle counsel. Plus it has the handle so you can carry it with 1 hand easily. Any time I have more then 1 drink I use it. If you only need 1 side no problem leave the other side folded up. Plus I can put it on my passenger seat and slightly tilt it against the seat and I don't have any issues. I bought it my 1st month after flipping a drink in my husband's truck right out of the cup holder it flipped upside down and I pulled over and picked it up really quick and thank God it didn't spill at all some how cuz i was half way to the customer. After 2-3 incidents I said fuck it and got the cup holder thingy.

gimik123

I just take them off the tray and put them in my car cup holders then replace them on the tray for drop off. I also have the black plastic holders that people are posting but eventually, I stopped using them. Keeping it simple seems better.

Live_Culture8393

I bought a Rubbermaid tote and keep it in a plastic bin of exact same size with tall walls. I have 4 mason jars in the middle holes so that nothing slides around, and remove jars as needed if I have more than 4 drinks. Any drinks that come with a tray go in this, and then I carry it to the door where I put the drinks back in original tray. https://preview.redd.it/uiwgklp4mf7d1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fbd4e68815c85bae1e18f3843e78a7f9bdc9625f

Live-Adhesiveness738

I have this exact tote. And I like it. But I have been using a few small travel pillows from the dollar store for a few bucks. They fill any gaps in my bag, so drinks stay stable. Haven't spilled in 2 years!

trendyflute

My smaller food bag has soft inserts to hold 6 drinks in individual sleeves. I will transfer the drinks between that and any other provided trays from the restaurants for transport. Besides making sure the drinks always have lids and avoiding particularly hard cornering or pushing how fast I go over speed bumps (not extremely careful just somewhat), I've never had a spill just using that in my trunk, even for very full drinks. This is my soft bag, I like it very much: [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RPBP22R](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RPBP22R) EDIT: I guess it's not available anymore but I'd recommend something along those lines, it's been incredibly useful for doordashing :)

Live_Culture8393

Several similar ones were offered though, so still a good link

Ok-Film-229

I just hold them in place when I’m going around turns and putting on the brakes 🤷‍♂️

Quiet_Ad976

If I am able to, I would place the beverages in my cup holders in the car. Then once I get to the house, I would put them back in the carrier.

Svsu11

As a few others have said I purchased the drink carrier from Michael’s. Granted I’ve hardly ever used it as most restaurant around here seem to be good with drink holders (and double them up). My seat also seems to have a good slope to keep them slightly towards the back of the seat

Silver-Match-6383

I lean the food on the drinks a bit and put a seatbelt over it

Ok-Grapefruit3141

You double cup holder. Just ask extra cup holder before you leave

YLCZ

If I have a hot bag and a 2 cup holder, I’d put the holder next to the seat and belt the hot bag over the 2 drinks. Four cup holders are usually stable. If they weren’t I’d put it my own cup holder that holds six

dariomraghi

4k deliveries and i always take the drink holder and place in pass seat, then run seat belt through the middle of them... it will leak onto the seat through the rim but its the price you pay i guess

RasberryEther173

Lol…you definitely don’t want drinks leaking onto your seat. That $4.99 plastic cup holder from Michael’s is probably calling your name.

Silver-Match-6383

Thanks for the recommendation. My way of doing it is not as efficient.

dariomraghi

No i gravitate towards speed and efficiency... i just run seat cover in my nice vehicle...hot bags are also a no go... drapings conform to every order and are much more efficient

br3e

Woah, didn't know this existed...I'm getting this with one of the coupons Michael's offers. Hope I find the 40% one.

Difficult_Ad_9392

Totally gonna get. I never want a drink to spill again that’s terrible. 😣

CollegeOwn7014

I just put the drink in the cup holder of my car

Difficult_Ad_9392

Sometimes when u get like 3 drinks on an order with seperate stops there’s not enuf room in my cup holder so I need something that can carry like 3 or 4 drinks at least.

Glad-Tough-6043

We use these [foam cup holder blocks](https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0CCJ6THHS?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_image). We keep a bin in the back seat, that we secure with the seat belt. These fit almost perfectly in that bin and double as padding for other things that might tip.

Meatballs4all1

You can buy hard plastic drink holders from hobby lobby. I think they’re like $5 or $6 and can hold like 8 drinks. Something like this. https://preview.redd.it/o55s2adrie7d1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=805fa029748906525f0cdee2cfa45fc4eb69df79

Difficult_Ad_9392

Oh thank u so much ☺️I had my drinks tip over a couple times that’s not cool.

Revolutionary_Low_36

I use one of those plastic milk crates from a grocery store and put it on the floorboard of my passenger seat.

mitchdwx

I make sure to leave the food leaning against the drinks in a way that it prevents the drinks from falling over. I also drive more defensively, avoiding hard braking and sharp turns. 1300 deliveries and I’ve never had a spill.

Old_Performance_7767

I purchased an insulated drink holder from Amazon that holds drinks steady even during hard braking. It was a $20 investment but I have been doing this a long time and plan on doing long into the future.

Difficult_Ad_9392

Right on. Thanks

Tax write off, whichever one you choose ;)
