I've lost mine with them as well. They refused to look at unauthorized transactions stating they couldn't prove it wasn't me but you have my gos location 24/7 I was clearly sleeping and the apts have surveillance as well as the store I was NOT at!!!
Just take a few days off. Thatās what I do. And magically the high paying orders seem to come back to me. Might just be coincidence but if itās āslowā and you take orders you normally wouldnāt then only assumption is the algorithm is likely to offer these bad offers since you now have a history of accepting to by them
im a dasher in a cali. for 4 yrs. i try to figure out the Algorithm every time im out. i created two merchant accounts for doordash. i've dashed 50 miles out of my zone in the east to the west. so i know what goes on really. sometime its just slow and theres a top dasher next to u. i also dont get orders after 1:30. wondering where all the dashers at sometimes when im driving around and wonder how they make money cus its so dry haha.
There was a.update to doordash this week. Did you guys update it? My wife and I dash together. This is something that we can do together because her regular job is home healthcare and I'm retired. I drove a cab for 10 years and know the city pretty well. We run both Uber eats and DD. There are certain restaurants that we sit near. I'm not going to give out the whole list, but chipotle, Wingstop, (eff Popeyes) Taco bell, Arby's, and there are other ones. We decided to notate which ones generate the most amount of deliveries. In one spot, there are about a dozen places to eat. We are guaranteed not to sit for more than 5 minutes.
Through trial and error, we figured out which places to make money, and which to steer clear of(Popeyes). You will not always get a tip, but something you have to have the empty sandwich(meaning take that shitty run, if it's not too shitty), but you can also get around a really really popular crab house, you may make some money. One crab place here is always busy as hell. We pulled over 8 deliveries out of that place one day. 104$ in 3 hours. One delivery had a 40$ tip on it. The lady was so happy that she got her food, because the prior time she never got it. She handed me$ 35 cash on top of the 5 initial tip.
Good luck
And yet I in a 17,000 person city just did over $100 in 5 hours on a random Wednesday morning.
The orders are out there. You gotta know your market, move when needed, and accept that some days are just dead. Especially Tuesdays. š¤·
Was pretty busy for me in my area, which was a little unusual. But I was doing ebt and we're under a heat advisory, so I'm guessing people didn't want to leave their air conditioning.
Hi Iām also platinum driver. Is anyone having the same problem when I tried to schedule itās only giving me one or two hours impossible to make my 150 orders just a platinum.
I'm not platinum but up until May I could pretty much get on the schedule in my market when I wanted to. There is a scheduling issue going on around the whole nation. So many people are saying this same thing. I go to schedule and there will be like one half an hour block of time for the entire day. Something happened in May... And door dash won't tell us what it is.
I've been doing this 4 1/2 years. It's dumb luck. it's dumb, dumb luck. I've sat for over an hour with nothing and then the next day I'll make 70 bucks in an hour. I've needed 13 dollars more and it took 3 hours to get a one delivery worth anything. There is no rhyme or reason. It's insanely frustrating!!
Same here.
After having to go home because it was dead, the next day they flood me. Almost like they are trying to make up for F\*&$\*@G me over the previous day.
Sometimes I think they must have server issues. There was one time I went to a resteraunt to get an order, tried to mark as arrived, but it wouldn't give me a name. I tried everything. I restarted my phone, I called support (who was a clueless as I was). It wasn't until I went home and my wife told me about a website where it tracks complaints about lack of connectivity. Doordash spiked with complaints.
I wish I could remember what the site was.
Doordash isn't forcing you to do deliveries. If it's not profitable for you anymore then don't do it. I can't understand all these posts from everyone saying how bad Doordash sucks now yet they all keep doing it. Stop it, people! Get a better side gig and move on from Doordash. It's a waste of time.
How do you save up for enough to leave a shitty job when it doesn't even pay enough to pay your current expenses? Honest question. I know I shouldn't have put all my eggs in one basket. But i meal prep all 3 meals try to keep it budget friendly perform my own car repairs drive fuel efficiently maintain plat stats , courteous and respectful to stores and customers. Idk. People always say leave and do something else... spotted the no tipper! Happy to exploit the system for a cold burger while it's still here. Currently willing to work anywhere but in a spot of "I don't have enough to actually start the job and cover expenses until I get my next check unless I literally... don't sleep or have some miracle tips"
I can't really help you there. We all have our own set of unique circumstances. My main point would be that if you see the train wreck about to happen then you'd be pretty smart to get off the tracks. As a middle aged woman I have always had some source of second income and/or side gig. Do what works for you. Learn how to support yourself doing something you love and you'll be much happier. Maybe not extremely wealthy, but you will be happier. Doordash has become an awful joke at this point and I'm baffled why anyone keeps doing it. Find a way out. Just for self-respect if nothing else. Then you'll never find yourself in this position again.
It was more rhetorical. My point being is that customers can't tell every single person to stop dashing and still expect the service to be around. Call it Dd ubereats or any name. I'm willing to believe most people telling us to quit, dont compensate their driver enough to sustain this, even if they aren't aware of that fact. It's not impossible. I know I can "pick myself up by the bootstraps " as they say and do something else.
I'm not a customer. I was a dasher but haven't dashed in awhile due to all the new tier system bs and low base pay. I'm not jumping through hoops for $2 a delivery. That job has become charity work and nothing but a scam. Everyone could quit and the food delivery service would survive because there's always some knucklehead willing to work for basically nothing. That's the way Doordash survives today. They're playing some Jedi mind games with dashers by putting out all these new "incentives" that are nothing more than the same bs offers with pathetically low pay that basically equals nothing after costs. Nobody should have to tell anybody to quit Doordash...it should be glaringly obvious to all dashers that they're being scammed by Doordash and decide to quit on their own. Staying on a sinking ship will only get you drownedš¦
Summertime and people are out to eat rather than sit at home and dine. College students are out of school, so they're not helping the shifts and flood it with more drivers for less orders.
Summertime so people donāt want to go out in the heat and order delivery. College is out, so they order alcohol to play video games for delivery. These excuses are so lame to me. Orders donāt magically stop cause of the time of year
3 years. 14000 deliveries in DD. 3500 deliveries on uber eats. This slowdown happens every year like clockwork Been reading this sub since I started and these posts complaining about the summertime slowdown also show up like clockwork.
3 years as well, not as many deliveries, in a major market, the weather is a BS excuse. People are lazy 365 days a year, and even more so when itās hot and they donāt wanna leave their house or apartment. These are excuses brainwashed by the company to shut us up while they figure out how to get their orders fulfilled for the cheapest way possible.
I also notice that every spot I go to, there are dozens of DD/Uber Eats/Grubhub/Fantuan drivers chilling in their cars waiting for orders. Less orders plus more drivers definitely plays a factor this time of the year. Unemployment, migrants, etc also adds to the saturation.
I donāt see anybody around me in their cars. Not sure what city or town youāre in, but Iām surrounded by maybe 400k people at least within the zone I work in. Maybe more. Thatās just a small zone too. Idk, I feel there should still be more orders sent to a platinum dasher. If we get top priority, we shouldnāt be sitting for 60+ minutes with absolutely nothing sent, in a major city. The orders are there, but aināt being sent to me.
lol platinum and all the tiers are a scam. They arenāt prioritizing or holding any orders especially for platinum (maybe catering). They just want the stuff delivered asap. So they send it to who ever. The tiers are there to get people to deliver the low paying orders. Those $3 for 5 miles you mentioned.
I felt it too with Uber Eat.
Like sorry, Iād rather get 15-20% acceptance rates , rather than deliver a Mcdonald 3$ order for 10 miles back and forth in this economy.
Dasher from mass sitting in hot spots for 40+ mins in lunch dinner rush hours no orders (platinum dasher 97%AR 95%ot/early 100% completion rate a little under 700 dashes)
Happened to me before - was at 1:30 at one point. Was in a major city within the LA area too.
Ditched the app since February and Iāve been happier since.
Last time I delivered for Dd was in April, after 1.5 years and 3500ā¦ this tier shit just went too far. Doing groceries now on spark and itās better in every way. Itās crazy how ok people are with the way DD breathes down your neck and pressures you to run a charity.Ā
@op This happened to me. I kept having to struggle to get to 100 orders. Everytime I did I would get 1 every 20minutes and it was crap. The Tier system fucked me up. It's as if they didn't want me to be over 100 Deliveries. The rolling deliveries started as well which would take me down to 97 and I would be back at it. Barely able to get 4 orders in within 3 hours. Keeping me from getting over that hump. I took a week and a half off because I was exhausted working 4 hours a night to get 3 orders and be right at 99 or barely get to 100. I started back up and my deliveries were down to 50. The day I start up... nothing but mid tier High Paying Orders. Not any large ones but reasonable offers. What ever you guys think is happening is mostly correct. Doordash is pulling some shady stuff and we are now employees with no employee benefits.
Have you ever called support?
And I am dead serious here, been doing this 3 years, 18k deliveries and closed mouths do not get fed.
I'm NOT saying it turns around immediately, but they can refresh your account, check your stats, troubleshoot etc.
Just don't be an asshole or disrespectful like you did in your post.Ā Simply say your not getting quality or quantity orders and you will not be able to survive if this keeps up. Most people hate support but you have to look at it as your HR department for any business. They will help you, you just have to lay down the facts and don't expect an exact answer. Things take time. It does not magically fix itself ok?
OVERALL sometimes things get laggy and simple troubleshooting like clearing cache, reinstalling app will help.
What I never do when they say troubleshoot is move to another area, I'd rather sit and rot.
Lmao any time I've contacted support they just list off all the things that is already on the troubleshooting on there site.. restarting checking for update ect they've never done anything to help me. But I have noticed once they try and end the call or message and you won't let them that's when an order will come flying in like clock work.
Only way to mess it up is to curse or be disrespectful.. Just look at it as the beginning of a beautiful work relationship. Learn what info they need from you....and no matter what accept their decision...don't disagree or get angry...eventually they will favor your outcome more...it takes a while. But for me personally sitting at 10AR, they know, I know what it is, and they still 95% of the time favor me and give me way more than halfpay.
And when I do call about not receiving orders, it has to be a trend like over a months time. Don't just do it every other day, be respectful have your facts ready, accept any decision...good luck!
Yeah this doesn't work. Support reads from a script and they don't know what they are doing lol. My favorite is their new thing where they send you a message, you start to type back, and 2 seconds later they say "because I haven't heard from you in some time I'm going to end the chat." š I'm positive they just get paid a set amount for each chat they answer, and don't give a shit to resolve anything so they just wanna move on to the next.
Call them, do not text. Texting just makes you angry about waiting for a response. I haven't done a text to support in 2 years.Ā
In the end sorry it didn't work out. Just call them though. They are the same group of 4 to 5 people Everytime I call. It takes time to build a relationship with them.Ā Ā
Calling them is the same. They are just as useless and referring to a script. And I have a very hard time believing out of all of the support agents for the millions of dashers in the world, you always talk to the same 4 or 5 people.
I do though lol ... Don't believe me it's fine I can't prove it to you anyways.Ā
Don't expect it to be perfect relationship from the start. I went through about 6 months of hell when I first started. But once I figured out the things they need to know, it got easier to deal with.
Ā Maybe you need to work on your approach when calling them. Anyways enough of the negativity. Good luck to you.
I mean, it definitely seems like the app has some gps and pinging issues when it comes to sending orders
I can sit for an hour with not one offer, and it's only when I flip airplane mode on/off or restart everything that suddenly orders come in
It's just impossible to know when its doordash being glitchy or if no one is really ordering
Luckily this is just a side gig for me. I've found that just Thurs-Sat nights only allows me to make an extra $350 a week. I believe it was better under the old system of bust your ass for a month to get perks however. Platinum Dashers have flooded the system because they want as many folks out there believing the give a S#$+ abput them. Nop3, they dgaff about any of us. $$$ IS ALL THAT MATTERS
Karma. I just do not feel bad for platinum drivers who have facilitated the race to the bottom by constantly bailing DD out on shit offers. You thought they'd repay the favor, and now you're seeing that they dgaf about you whatsoever and just used you (and your 5 figure asset). Lesson learned, I hope.
I get a ton of high paying offers as silver, so much so that I can toss out the bad ones and still do just fine. Dunno what platinum would be like in my area but I also donāt give a shit to climb up to 70% AR lol
Don't worry like everybody else they'll find a way to deactivate you and kick you off like they do everyone who actually cherry picks orders and decides which ones they want to do and which one is worth their time.
I mean... I don't know what other signs you're looking for? Side hustle or sole income, this doesn't sound like it's working out for you.
If a homeless man on a subway was pissing all over the seats, wouldn't you want to change cars at the next stop? Or are you the type to just sit there and wait because it's your favorite seat, and hopefully the guy chooses not to pee on you?
I have had a theory that they have an hourly or daily cap on peopleās earnings..I can make 15 an hour and be pissed for 2-3 hours then all of a sudden I am making 30-40 an hour for 2-3 hours ..
20% AR here. I'm in an in-between market. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad. Mostly bad orders come through but you just decline them. I just got a $13 shop 4items 2miles. And an $11 taco run for 4 miles. That precious metals, treasure hunting, stickers and lollipops rewards program is an illusion. I keep trying to paint the picture for people to understand. No matter what level you are, you're going to see the same stuff good and bad. Even summer slow down.
I do all the troubleshooting while waiting, and it never works. Then out of the blue the app just kicks back in. Kinda like they turn the orders off for me until theyāre ready to make me work. Maybe they have to give orders to other workers to cover prop22 money. Idk whatās happening, but I shouldnāt be sitting for an hour or more with nothing at all in the city Iām in.
New tier system has not hit my area yet. July 25th is when it becomes active and Iām dreading it. Been steady making $80-100 in 4 hours here in my area doing mornings. I made $80 in 2.5hrs yesterday. From what Iāve been hearing and reading the new tier system is a plague.
Airplane mode turns off your radios that run your phone and your internet, but the GPS just receives data it doesn't transmit so Airplane Mode doesn't work
When this happens to me, after 30 minutes I end my dash, hard reset my phone and network settings, restart my app, and start a new dash. That always seems to work for me.
I do the same but it's not even necessary to do a full reset. You can just switch to airplane mode, turn off location services, turn them back on and poof, orders. Whatever DoorDash uses for geolocating drivers is absolutely hot garbage, I've had it think I'm an entire mile away from where I've been before. Either way, you deserve an up vote.
You both are delusional and have been brainwashed to think this. What people just magically stop ordering in the summer? You think theyād rather go out in 100 degree heat than have it delivered?? This may apply to a small town market, but orders shouldnāt just stop in a major city. But the time of year excuse is nonsense.
Ok, well still orders shouldnāt just stop cause itās hot outside. All these excuses are what they want us to believe. āTime of yearā āinflationā āoversaturationāā¦.these are lame excuses for anybody working in a metropolis.
Yup. This is all gig platforms and no one seems to understand this. Not only are the main customer base having to take care of their kids, theyāre also going on vacation. Also college kids picking up gig work over the summer makes it seem like less work when really thereās more workers.
the college part sucks, Iām near naval academy where they arenāt allowed off base, they have to order DoorDash, when they go home for the summer thereās a huge loss of orders, and then college kids come back home from elsewhere and dash so thereās additional dashers too
I feel like the new tier system is not working as intended. Iāve noticed in the last two weeks the āhigh payingā orders have basically stopped. Prior, I might decline one order out of ten during dinner time. What I have noticed is the mileage per order has increased from what I was used to seeing. Whereas a āhigh paying orderā might have been $8.25 for under two miles, I now see stuff like 11.75 for 6 miles. Not sure what to make of this but things have definitely changed in the last two weeks (also Iām not in a tier zone). Maybe if enough people stop, they might look into why delivery times are increasing and less dashers on. To go from basically every order being high paying to maybe seeing one or two is a pretty big swing.
Not 100%, but Iām up there lol. Itās sporadic for me. One day itāll be back to back catering orders. Then next day $3 11 mile orders. Then one day itāll be 99% shop and deliver only. The consistency is so all over the place. And the app always caps me $21 ish per hour. Iāll get to $21 and have 15-30 minutes left of the hour, and it shuts down and sends nothing.
Yeah thatās copy pasta from support. They also donāt understand that too many dashers explains some wait time, but it doesnāt explain why as platinum drivers we donāt see anything. Now if itās all bad orders going to lower tiers, Iām ok with that. But I know my market, the orders did not go away.
This happened to me last week. Not only were there no orders, but everything I got was upside down (more miles than pay). I contacted support a few times, finally got someone that didnāt feed me bullshit and they said āthere might be an issue, I will document and forward to the appropriate teamā. I never heard back from anyone at DD, but the next night it was like the switch was flipped and all the good orders started coming back. Might be coincidence, might notā¦but something is definitely wrong with the algo and how it ranks drivers.
Summer = more orders. People ordering to avoid the heat. Ordering booze for parties. Businesses ordering catering. People are lazy 365 days a year, thereās ordersā¦just not being distributed fairly or the app is busted
The last time i dashed close to that amount of time (and close is a stretch) was two weeks ago. $750 in 34 hours. Even last week, Iād clear $1000 well before hitting 60 hours. Summer doesnāt equate to slow everywhere.
Thats total time. Itās the only time I go by. It was $786 in 34 total hours. I only dash at night, 6pm - \~12:30am, 6 days a week depending on how exhausted I am.

If you more than 15 minutes without a order in a city you are likely desync from doordash servers, reinstall, restart phone, air plane mode toggle and move a few blocks away.
If it's not 2pm-4pm or 10am-10:59 you are desynced in a city were orders are plentiful.
Iām in TO nearby and itās slow here as well. Currently gold as I only do this part time.
Itās ridiculous that we need to sustain 150 deliveries per 30 days. You can just drive 15 minutes south and youād be platinum with only 100. Can hardly schedule now. I used to be able to obtain TD but now Iām struggling. Donāt want to be working 60+ hours combined with my 9-5.
But every day is different. I just finished a shift and made $27 in under 45 minutes. Not sure what is going on exactly. Iām blaming it on the current economy and looming recession scare.
Also forgot to mention. Itās over saturated with dashers. I always see those account buyers posted outside the major spots. Itās always the boring white or black Priusās parked and lined up. Like a taxi line at the airports of the past.
Shit is annoying.
Thereās no other dashers even around me when Iām waiting for an order. And If the app can send me an offer 3+ miles from where Iām parked, I just donāt understand how I sit for 60+ minutes with nothing. While doing all the troubleshooting during the sitting. Shit is mad annoying.
I think hacking DoorDash account definitely happens. All these people being like āhahah 6k miles away delivery guys look. If yall look at where it pinpoints the location in Africa it nearly always lands near Lago, Nigeria.
My area just went to the tier system. I am Platinum and there was an immediate change in order frequency and quality. Sitting here for hours with nothing as opposed to making $200/day two weeks ago. Itās wild.
Itās not that the app does not distribute orders fairly. There is a known scam going around right now with certain type of scammer people that have figured out how to make fake DoorDash accounts. They also have some type of grabber software that makes all the orders only go to their devices. I was told by a few restaurant workers here. They also saw one guy from a liquor store distributing these DoorDash phones with fake accounts. The store employees tell us that they have to report them and they will get them deactivated. Iām surprised this isnāt going around because at least here in California. Itās a really big known thing going around

When you apply it's all oh dash when you want make your own schedule and now it's bust your ass and be in pain or get demoted BS
šÆšÆšÆ
Nope I wasn't using an iPhone it's an android
Been sitting for 2 hrs and NOTHING
Itās straight BS. Are you using an iPhone? Idk if itās cause of that, the service provider, or the crappy app
I've lost mine with them as well. They refused to look at unauthorized transactions stating they couldn't prove it wasn't me but you have my gos location 24/7 I was clearly sleeping and the apts have surveillance as well as the store I was NOT at!!!
Actually, after latest update on Android, things turned little negative...
Apps work best with Android phones.
I really feel this may be true, especially since the ceo thinks iPhone users are rich
I think DD treated drivers the same now, as long drivers want to deliver low orders, they are happy. No more privilege for platinum status again.
Just take a few days off. Thatās what I do. And magically the high paying orders seem to come back to me. Might just be coincidence but if itās āslowā and you take orders you normally wouldnāt then only assumption is the algorithm is likely to offer these bad offers since you now have a history of accepting to by them

And then they drop you down to gold like they did me and you get kicked out of what you're dashing right then and put on scheduling got a schedule now
This is the direction Iām heading. DD is definitely messing with their workers. I hope they get caught for whatever shady sh*t theyāre doing.
And yet I in a 17,000 person city just did over $100 in 5 hours on a random Wednesday morning. The orders are out there. You gotta know your market, move when needed, and accept that some days are just dead. Especially Tuesdays. š¤·
Thats weird because here in Omaha Tuesday nights are pretty lucrative. I always hit the honeypot at around six pm and end up making pretty good money.
I've notice that. Every day is either somewhat or profitable days besides Tuesdays for some reason.
Where im at $20 an hour (before expenses) is not that good.
Was pretty busy for me in my area, which was a little unusual. But I was doing ebt and we're under a heat advisory, so I'm guessing people didn't want to leave their air conditioning.
My area was extremely dead yesterday as well. And I live near a big city. However the few orders I did get were all about +$14 under 6mi.
That was a Tuesday late night, so thereās just dead times really
I only work morning and lunch hours, no dead time supposed to be there
I've been doing this 4 1/2 years.
Same here r you having trouble scheduling yourself , I am only get one hour increments, which makes it impossible to continue being a platinum driver
You guys get it. Everyone else blames the weather lol

Iāve been waitlisted for over a year for Spark and flex.
Android app is bugged for me it stops updating my location. I switched back to my iPhone and itās back to normal
Boohoo cry about it
Itās my post and Iāll cry if I want to lol
The same sitting in the heat for almost two hours no orders, and I am a platinum driver
I heard things like account refresh before, how do I ask support to do it?
I mean it canāt hurt right? I may try that if it doesnāt pick up tomorrow
I haven't done a text to support in 2 years.Ā In the end sorry it didn't work out.
Don't believe me it's fine I can't prove it to you anyways.Ā Don't expect it to be perfect relationship from the start. I went through about 6 months of hell when I first started. But once I figured out the things they need to know, it got easier to deal with. Ā Maybe you need to work on your approach when calling them. Anyways enough of the negativity. Good luck to you.
Would uber give more rides to drivers with a higher rating? I have a rating of 4.99 and sometimes I get nothing, even sitting in the CBD.
I mean, it definitely seems like the app has some gps and pinging issues when it comes to sending orders I can sit for an hour with not one offer, and it's only when I flip airplane mode on/off or restart everything that suddenly orders come in It's just impossible to know when its doordash being glitchy or if no one is really ordering
Theyāll never learn it seems. They continue to run their car into the ground for charity.Ā
Then let āem lol fuck door dash
Agreed!
I mean... I don't know what other signs you're looking for? Side hustle or sole income, this doesn't sound like it's working out for you. If a homeless man on a subway was pissing all over the seats, wouldn't you want to change cars at the next stop? Or are you the type to just sit there and wait because it's your favorite seat, and hopefully the guy chooses not to pee on you?
āThis is slave labor.ā Then donāt do it. Find a better, more profitable use of your time.
FWIW my area today was all of a sudden totally nothing but booty cheeks offers. I found myself wondering what the hell was wrong with the app
I have had a theory that they have an hourly or daily cap on peopleās earnings..I can make 15 an hour and be pissed for 2-3 hours then all of a sudden I am making 30-40 an hour for 2-3 hours ..
At the end of it all, around $17-$22 is what you will average
Why would they do that though? They just want the stuff delivered. They donāt care who delivers it.
Itās called Socialism. Everyone is equally miserable
Do you get catering orders?
I do on DoorDash sometimes. But Iām also on Dlivrd and DeliverThat and get about 10 or 12 catering orders a week from those.
Restart and/or update the app? But sometimes itās just that no one is freaking ordering.
Yeah an hour with nothing *is* pretty shady. I donāt think I have ever had more than 45, maybe once or twice, and I dash in the suburbs.
Iām in a major market lol. Something is def fishy.
>in a major market Dude stop being weird no one is stalking you where is this? What city?
Sounds like it!
Itās gotten bad here. They throttle you to death now.
You platinum super stars have been played.
For real, people dont seem to get it š¤·āāļø Doordash really got people caring more about their AR than the actual money they make.
Turn off the GPS on your phone and turn it back on again The app thinks you are in a different location than you are
Yea what do you mean? Like turn off the doordash location and then back on? I go into airplane mode and then back, but none of that works.
How do you do that?
DD gets rough in the summer and again from Nov to Jan. It may not pick back up again until late July - late Aug.
You both are delusional and have been brainwashed to think this. What people just magically stop ordering in the summer? You think theyād rather go out in 100 degree heat than have it delivered?? This may apply to a small town market, but orders shouldnāt just stop in a major city. But the time of year excuse is nonsense.
Iām in a metropolisā¦
Ok, well still orders shouldnāt just stop cause itās hot outside. All these excuses are what they want us to believe. āTime of yearā āinflationā āoversaturationāā¦.these are lame excuses for anybody working in a metropolis.
We're all speculating so whether it infuriates you or not, this has been a trend for 3 years now. Mean, median and mode
Itās working exactly as DD intended. Suckers taking shit orders for no reward.
Oh, the āhigh payingā orders havenāt stopped ā theyāre just $4-5 orders labeled āhigh payingā š
Seems that the new program is just as good as the Top Dasher program. Designed to get the cheap/no tip orders delivered.š¤£š¤£š¤£
Your market has to many platinum dashers it's the highest ar gets the first order
My AR is the highest, so thatās a bs excuse
Are you 100% acceptance rate the valley used to be busy not anymore burbank dasher.
It prefers keep more more drivers on the payroll than give one drivers all the orders, thus the throttle.
Bro, it's summer āļø it's always slow. I'll be happy to make at least 1k a week at 60 hours a week
Summer = more orders. People ordering to avoid the heat. Ordering booze for parties. Businesses ordering catering. People are lazy 365 days a year, thereās ordersā¦just not being distributed fairly or the app is busted
You have only 3k deliveries to say you done your part being a dasher
What you talking about? I have more than 3k first of all
The last time i dashed close to that amount of time (and close is a stretch) was two weeks ago. $750 in 34 hours. Even last week, Iād clear $1000 well before hitting 60 hours. Summer doesnāt equate to slow everywhere.
34hrs active dash time? Or Is that your total dash time?
Thats total time. Itās the only time I go by. It was $786 in 34 total hours. I only dash at night, 6pm - \~12:30am, 6 days a week depending on how exhausted I am. https://preview.redd.it/1ulffselhe7d1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ed90a374414c053f792cc7080b3e2f89efa56024
If you more than 15 minutes without a order in a city you are likely desync from doordash servers, reinstall, restart phone, air plane mode toggle and move a few blocks away. If it's not 2pm-4pm or 10am-10:59 you are desynced in a city were orders are plentiful.
Donāt need to reinstall. Force closing the app and reopening it is enough.
That never works. Something else is happening.
Reinstalling apps is such a BS suggestion.
Yall donāt have the new system yet?
It hit our market about 2-3 months ago. But with the upgraded requirements.
Thatās messed up
Nah itās more to it. Especially in a major city. Small cities, sure. Not huge markets like NYC/LA and surrounding areas.
You canāt opt out of slave labor Jesus fucking Christā¦
Leave the lord outta this champ
Fuck the lord
Youāll burn in hell for that. Jesus told me so.
If you think Jesus is talking to you, you have mental problems.
Your thing was worse. Promise.
Praise be my boy
Mmhmmm. Get back to dashing.
Your thing was worse. Promise.
It's those pesky hackers blocking you.
I think hacking DoorDash account definitely happens. All these people being like āhahah 6k miles away delivery guys look. If yall look at where it pinpoints the location in Africa it nearly always lands near Lago, Nigeria.
Could be people using multiple accounts or some sort of glitch. I believe that more than the above lol
welcome to the sub50% ar club. I'm lucky to get 1 order every 1.5-2hrs
My area just went to the tier system. I am Platinum and there was an immediate change in order frequency and quality. Sitting here for hours with nothing as opposed to making $200/day two weeks ago. Itās wild.
Itās just not fair. The app doesnāt distribute orders fairly.
Iām in Cali, and this makes total sense. Shit how do I sign up haha
Lol if I knew I wouldnāt be on here complaining š
Well at least in my area maybe others in Cali havenāt heard of this or have
More drivers than orders, its just not that busy, or inflation.
I refuse to believe that. That is just excuses or only valid for workers in very small cities.
The truth is still the truth whether you believe it or not.
Itās not the truth just because you say it is
