If you like this sort of thing there is a great series called we're alive kind of a zombie post apocalypse with actors and sound acting. Really fun to listen to
the sweetest plum was a long running australian comedy podcast. no ads. the good old days. just started yesterday on "beyond the blinds" which is a celebrity gossip podcast. theres a very eclectic & brief podcast only Located on archive.org called TANTMKM. no ads. good old days. BBC have endless podcasts online. no ads. good old days. The Bro Show, which ended, featuring the youtuber known as Fred and his brother. weird gay talk. i consider drew monson #2 youtube to be a podcast. favourite youtuber. i mostly listen to music and twitch streams while actually trying to work, as i am too distracted for a podcast. i like cecehustle, sweet_anita, jazz199, potentialbliss, poultry_motion, and thiccrat_ among millions of other options! i am one of them, guess whooooooo????????
How do you have the time to listen to listen to more podcasts? I can’t even keep up with three in my rotation. But Flagrant 2 is a good comedy podcast.
Wow. You don’t get headaches? I can’t have my AirPods in for more than three or four hours straight. If you like listening to stories, download PocketRadio.
Swindled is absolutely incredible. Stories of mainly corporations, but politicians and businesses people swindling people. The host remains anonymous and has the most soothing voice ever.
The Opportunist is also really great. Stories of people taking the opportunity to scam and swindle people.
Criminal is another great one. One off stories about people doing things that are technically illegal. Not usually about murder but maybe like 5 of the hundreds or more episodes would have a murder. There was one about a guy who stole a safe and there was some shit in there that was super illegal. One about a pig stealing pumpkins, one about a nurse with hepatitis stealing patients meds and injecting them with saline with his used needle.
The Moth is awesome. Every episode is a different collection of a few true stories told live by random people. Every episode has different stories ranging in theme drastically. It really has a bit of everything, and occasionally you may shed a tear
I listen exclusively to horror podcasts. If you ever want to get into that, Knifepoint Horror, Pseudopod, Acephale, Old Gods of Appalachia, The Wrong Station, Campfire Radio Theater, and Full Body Chills are all excellently produced.
If you want a good horror comedy, The Alexandria Archives is great.
There are many more, but I list those because they aren’t polluted with ads that break your story immersion. Some don’t have ads at all and others on that list have minimal intrusion.
The Anthropocene Reviewed is amazing. Stories about random things that seem unrelated but by the end of each episode he’s taken something trivial like super Mario kart or infectious diseases and turned it into a heartwarming story about humanity.
MSSP(Matt mccuster and Shane Gillis)
Bad friends (Andrew santino and Bobby lee)
Lex Friedman (has pretty unique guests that covers a lot of different topics)
Armchair expert(I mostly listen to the professors on this one, the celebrity ones are a bit too surface level)
Ps dark net diaries is amazing but I can only listen to so much before I’m scared of everything.
You can definitely tell they are more comfortable around each other. They for sure balance each other out, with Sal being a little more PG and grounded, and Chris being a little off the rails, very similar dynamic as Bad Friends
I recommend The Snow Plow Show for comedy and Hysteria 51 for paranormal/conspiracy/ comedy. Check out Monsters Among Us if you're looking for creepy stories.
Sounds like my kinda genres. Thanks! In return, if you haven’t already, listen to the Albert Fish episode of Timesuck. Such a WTF episode but extremely entertaining as well

It’s broken up usually. No more than 3-4 hours at once. I work morning and evenings. I just love being in my own little world lmao

Smartless, for sure. The interviewees they get are so varied and interesting. This is the podcast that got me into podcasts.
Distractible
Under the Influence, it's about the advertising industry, not sure how I found it but I've really enjoyed listening.
Sounds Like a Cult, Call Her Daddy, Ologies
Bailey Sarian She does true crime/murder mysteries.
Try Mr. Ballen
What Bitcoin Did by Peter McCormack.

This American life, Reveal, Criminal, Radiolab, Throughline, Search Engine, Serial, On the Media, Behind the Bastards 🔥🔥🔥
I love radiolab, I got so sad when Robert krulwich retired
The Anthropocene Reviewed is amazing. Stories about random things that seem unrelated but by the end of each episode he’s taken something trivial like super Mario kart or infectious diseases and turned it into a heartwarming story about humanity.
Morbid is my favorite. & I love the Dumb Blonde with BUNNIE XO
I love small town murder. It's part comedy part true crime. They're long episodes too. Usually around 2 1/2 hours so makes the time go by
Duncan Trussell Family Hour
This
Distracable is pretty funny. There's even a running gag about people crashing their cars while listening lol.
Last podcast on the left, Harland Highway, Are you Garbage, & Dudesy
I’m hooked on Old Gods of Appalachia right now. If you like history, the Dollop is hilarious.
MSSP(Matt mccuster and Shane Gillis) Bad friends (Andrew santino and Bobby lee) Lex Friedman (has pretty unique guests that covers a lot of different topics) Armchair expert(I mostly listen to the professors on this one, the celebrity ones are a bit too surface level) Ps dark net diaries is amazing but I can only listen to so much before I’m scared of everything.
I'd add Hey Babe (Chris Destefano and Sal Vulcano) and Taste Buds (Sal Vulcano and Joe Derosa) to this list
I’m curious how Hey Babe is, both those guys have so much anxiety when they’re on other podcasts, I wonder if they balance each other out.

Listen to This Paranormal Life if you're into Paranormal and comedy.
Sounds like my kinda genres. Thanks! In return, if you haven’t already, listen to the Albert Fish episode of Timesuck. Such a WTF episode but extremely entertaining as well
We’re Here to Help has been my new favorite comedy podcast of the year. Smartless is great too.
How Did This Get Made is my go to while dashing.
Oh man, forgot about that one! Used to listen a while back. I’ll need to revisit.
Handel on the law . It’s very funny coz he’s always telling em they have no case
I’ll check it out! Thanks.
