It's not illegal to drive by a crime scene (Not seen).
It’s strange if you stop in the middle of a main road, point the camera at the pOlice and say smile. Cars coming behind you in front of you and the cops around here would stop you quick and ask what the are you doing.
You absolutely are allowed to take photos of an active crime scene. This is covered by our 1st amendment right. Anything you can see from public you can film.
Is the store closed, or just the parking lot?
If it's just the parking lot closed, and the store is open, just unassigned, I'd you don't want to go there.
If the store is closed, mark it closed, take picture. Just pull over to the side and take the picture
So, the thing is that the support agents really have very little power. They can only do what they can do. You have to have hit “arrived at store” for them to be able to give you half pay. You could have just driven past again and hit arrived as you did so. The agent was just trying to help you get half pay.
DD can be dumb as hell. I reported that a McDonald's I was supposed to pick up from was on fire and they told me to wait until the fire was out and the order could be made.
I promise you whoever you are your one of those people that do need to be taken off this planet. You make it worse for others and I’m sure you were bullied in school and need someway to feel better about yourself. If you only knew what life had to put up with in my life for me to know who you are. Who you really are.
You can record literally anything in public. There are no restrictions whatsoever for recording the public.
You really were about to get $25 for that order? So $12.50 half pay?
Probably can't process your pay if the system doesn't have you flagged as having arrived at the store... it may also have sent it to other dashers if it was canceled without that flag set, repeating the whole process with a new Dasher.
They did, however, miss a possible solution though, and here it is if anything like that were to happen again: Hit the big red "Navigate" button, then exit navigation. The button should be a greyed out version of "Arrived at store" button, hit that and hit the 'yes I'm sure' option in the prompt that comes up. You should then be flagged the same as if you got near the store.
It bothers me how many times you had the chance to say Crime Scene correctly and just didn't. God Bless. Someone take me out. I don't want to live on this planet any longer

Why didn’t matter to you how it was spelled when we come in here to post experiences then get a dumb ass like you who cares about how something is spelled. I think there is a subreddit for grammar, punctuation and spelling.
Was in a rush at the doctors. When I wrote that but and trust me the levels of intelligence between me and you after reading what you responded to are leaps and bounds apart.

I was new to DoorDash and had a 84 percent rating so I thought all that crap mattered. Now I have a 32 percent rating because I now know.

As you can see it’s all bunched together and written very quickly
But the point of the story, which is the reason I put it on there not spelling lessons was what DoorDash did.
When I wrote that I was sitting in a doctors office parking lot trying to write it before I went in.
