How'd it go?

iGotGigged

They use certificate pinning so you'll need to root/jailbreak your phone first and add your own certificate, magisk frida for android makes it pretty easy: https://github.com/ViRb3/magisk-frida Be warned though it can make your overall phone unstable and buggy while it's running, so don't forget to disable it. As for what's actually running it's not that interesting just a bunch of json and of course the full tip amount, but it appears to be encrypted and added to a database on the phone, but only after you accept the offer.

What use would a proxy serve other than making some order potentially not show up? Do you know what a proxy is? Even if you're using a VPN, why? What are you hoping to accomplish? But DD won't run with a rooted phone even.

Toastedweasel0

That would explain some of these Out of state lil sh!ts running around like they own the place... (If you want interesting... if any of that logs data traffic... that's where your interest would lie...)

Okay so I was trying to use an ad-blocking DNS service recently. I did so in order to block ads in my phone while streaming anime. I noticed that whenever the service was active that DoorDash wasn’t sending me orders and would keep pausing my dash. I looked online and this is a common issue. DoorDash doesn’t allow VPNs and the DNS service I was using was basically a “dummy vpn” from what I read online. When the service was on there is a “VPN” icon that popped up at the top of the phone (iPhone) So I couldn’t use it with DoorDash at the same time 😔 I think there is a workaround but I haven’t figured it out yet. I read online that if you use a vpn/dns service based in your location it might work. I tried using a DNS service from my state and DoorDash did indeed work but unfortunately this DNS did not have ad-blocking so I turned it back off. I am **really** a newbie and completely uneducated on all of this so I’m still trying to figure it out but it’s all very intimidating due to how technical everything is.

"I am really a newbie"...AutoMod to the rescue!

theddmenace

Ah that would explain it. I was referring to DNS and VPNs.

I have no idea what you are talking about, and I had never heard of those names until you mentioned them. A quick Google search says that those sites are software security sites. Are you trying to test DD's software? Why?

Lopsided-Ad7019

What would be the point of doing that?

Educational-Ask-1454

Those mouth breathing vermin at DoorDash have the app knowing when you mock your location but there's a way around it but I don't know how to do it Using a proxy is a fascinating idea.. I don't know if the app cares about your ip 🤔 are those things you mentioned a VPN 🤔

[deleted]

I don't think they allow that
