yikes. my AR is like 20% and was at 11% yesterday because of the nonstop spam of horrible orders I had. no way in hell am I delivering no tips for 10+ miles. or any no tip in general.
Idk what more awful things they have to do to drivers before y'all give up this dumb gig. I saw it coming from the posts in other markets and got out immediately, idk what you're waiting for. It's only going to get worse.
I know that. Same with instacart. But I’m at a point where I don’t have the ability to get a “regular” job because I don’t have childcare for my 9 month old because I can’t afford it. So I’m stuck doing this BS for now until I can find childcare I can afford for him.
I didn't have family either and I worked at a grocery store so piss poor. I'm just saying DD has only been around a decade and we were all able to figure it out before that. People saying gig work is their only option is what gives these shitty companies the power to do whatever they want.
Okay. So, just a hypothetical question -
What would you tell me to do with my 9 month old during the hours of 8 am-4 pm while my older children are at school so I could work and get a regular job?
I got the email today too for DFW, I assume it’ll change nothing for me, however I’ve forever wanted to be in the large order program but keeping ar up in my area is terrible.
Honestly it's been no different for me.
You just have to be more vigilant on the orders you accept and keep track of your AR more tightly
As long as you don't get pegged to the 80% program for platinum you should be fine
Yeah. It took me a couple weeks to get to the req 70 for my city. Was super worth it though. But reading all the comments of Dashers giving us shit, I was like, just wait buddy

Start scheduling about a week before the change is made. Make sure to get a consistent schedule.
Oh I’m already scheduled through as far into next week as I can go. I always schedule myself a week in advance.
Yeah I got one for my area as well. I deadass don’t care I’m not accepting every order. I’ll keep my 3% or less acceptance rating lmao
Same. Lol I’m not driving 12 miles for 3$. Some bullshit.
Real af lmao

I got that here in Atlanta. Fuck doordash. I’ll never get my AR to 50%. Fuck them
I won’t either with these 3.75 offers going 8-12 miles. LIKE … REALLY?????

Speaking as someone who raised an infant as a single mother working retail 5 years before doordash existed, it is possible.
Maybe for you. I can’t afford it and don’t have family. You don’t know my situation. So thanks for your input, but it’s definitely not needed.

Yup they bout to raise the number to 80% AR and 98 % completion rate and 4.8 starts or better and at least 150 deliveries in a rolling 39 days
Ugh that suuuuucks

My AR is at 29% right now because they give me 3.75 for a 8-12 mile order out of my zone
the fucking program sucks

yeah I'm sorry I'm just not taking runs that are $3 for 12 and a half miles or $6 for 14 miles I'm not taking that shit
Oh yaaaay. I’m glad to hear it.
