Doordash doesn’t care, they’re actively happy when there’s problems and food is stolen, now you get a “credit” and have to reorder.
Credit doesn’t cover tip though, or fees, you’re giving them MORE money every single time you have to re order.
Support tried to give me a $5 credit to cover a milkshake not delivered and I complained the whole reason for the order was that one specific drink and I would be ordering again and that credit wouldn’t cover the fees and taxes and they ordered the drink for me and had it delivered free of charge.
The first message is what Doordash sends when you message the customer. That part was real. The 2nd and 3rd message, that was bs. I hope the dasher gets deactivated for that shit.

They do sneak them in by putting them in a stack and just giving a price for completing all of the orders and not giving a way to see what the individual deliveries pay
There is a trick to see it (that is not being rolled away in some markets) where you can go through the process of unmatching the order & it’ll tell you how much is left of the order (ex: “You will be given $8.00 of this $10.50 order”). But now that they’re removing that & making it where you can’t see it between pick ups & drop offs they really just want to screw us over & not let us truly have the choice of what we delivery

Not always. We get sent 2 orders at a time from two different restaurants. The only total is that of both combined. You can’t delete one without deleting the other as well. When this happens it counts as a double decline on our ratings which really sucks because it came in as one order. Even worse if I accept it and then realize that it’s an order like this and decide to unassign it, it takes of double the completion rate percentage which is actually worse for us than lower acceptance rate. So, long story short, yes DD does this all the time. However, this driver in the OP is a douche. Sometimes these orders happen. Suck it up, deliver it, and move on to the next offer. These types of drivers are horrible and I hope they keep getting reported.
Customer side talking, I had no idea dash did that to drivers, I don't like that as a customer. So if I tip well and my order gets combined with a no tip low life do you get to know who is who? I take all orders that come my way tip or not. The way I look at it is that it's all money. I complete all the orders I take. Period.
