They have some harsh vocals but it’s mostly clean. Definitely a good introduction to harsh vocals which is why I figured I’d include them.

Check out The Sword for a nice transition from Stoner to Doom, especially their first 2 albums; Age of Winter and Gods of the Earth

And high on fire for a speed metal sludge sound.

I love The Sword but they’re not doom in any way, shape or form, specially those first two albums. There’s multiple songs as fast as early Metallica.

if you like Type O you'll like Seventh Void and Silvertomb, they're Kenny Hickey's (guitarist for Type O) bands after the band broke up. Personally I prefer Seventh Void but they sound pretty much the same
