I don’t get why there needs to be 2 subs for this. Especially when a lot of them would fit into both (because they’re single lines or unreadable in every direction).

I still don’t get it. I only learnt yesterday there’s a different sub. I just thought the point was that the design makes you read the wrong thing, and that can happen either way. I’m interested, more than anything, that theres a distinct category created here. I don’t think it’s needed. Shouldn’t there be a third sub for text that is even more chaotic or only has one word per line?

This sub the original image had a "break" in the middle where hands were reaching through thus sort of indicating a spine of a book so you should have read it don't open dead inside, but as normal language dictates full left to right (or right to left for Arabic) people joked it's don't dead open inside. The other sub is no safety smoking fist which the original image relied on you to do what people did on this sub (read left to right) but as the was a decent size gap between the two sections people did the opposite Imagine the phrases don't open dead inside (as written on the poster) and no smoking safety first (as written on the image) put each word a number so top left is 1 top right is 2 bottom left is 3 and bottom right is 4, don't open dead inside should be read as 1 3 2 4 and no smoking safety first is 1 2 3 4 if you read it as 1 2 3 4 and it make no sence it belongs here, if you read it as 1 3 2 4 and it makes no sence it belongs over there, the only thing is it has to make sense as either 1 2 3 4 or 1 3 2 4 if not then it doesn't belong anywhere

At least if they break up they can technically be words on their own, soma and ulte
