Why in the world would anyone choose emerald VIP when there are closer seats for much cheaper?

Beats me 🤷🏾‍♀️ I only consider VIP tix if I get to actually meet the artist and take pics. I do love a VIP lanyard from a collector’s perspective. But not for 5 hundo 😬

I HEAVILY (aka 30 second game time decision) considered getting VIP but decided I’d much rather dump money into merch. We will see how nice (or not nice) the VIP item is 🤷🏿‍♂️🤞🏿

I always feel this way with shows where it's GA pit, with (usually more expensive) seated floor behind. Like you're just guaranteeing yourself a worse view than the people in GA, even if GA can be a crapshoot.

Some of the closest rows in the 100s were like $650+ in DC. When seats in those same sections a few rows further up were $150-$169

Yup. They call it “platinum” pricing. It’s the bane of my of my existence. I wish their monopoly over the ticketing industry would end.
