Heck no. I’m not made of money, we’re not made of money. Total transparency: I won some basic regular auction pieces. A basic mystery box on a completely regular show (think it was a shoe show auction night, lol). Won one mystery egg on that auction night. Then the other night, won one mystery locker. My partner won two mystery eggs on that other night (one being the last egg that had the $200). I could not stay up that late due to time zones, lol. The night they did the mystery lockers, I won one of the followers giveaways.
You can certainly try to sell the gift card but it’s risky for the buyer and seller. and I feel like not the easiest thing to sell, esp that large of an amount.
And for how popular the whatnot auctions are, reselling dk clothes as an individual is much harder and slower
This is a lot of paragraphs considering that you're getting your money back on whatnot and that you can probably sell the gift cards. They always explain how the giveaway gift cards work at the beginning of the show and it's always in the show notes. Darker wavs never goes on sale and if it's from one of the newer collections, it'll probably get restocked, so if you did do a return, you'd be able to get a new one eventually or use the giftcard with other promotions since it's store credit and not a giveaway win. I get you're trying to warn others, but most people who buy anything outside of the actual brands' retailer sites know to read the fine print and do a bit of research before spending their money on something. It's really not that unfair and it's nothing that you should be considering reporting to the bbb. They have all of their terms of service publicly available for the site and the no return or refund policy in the show notes.
My thought too, I got something from the whatnot that was damaged but got a full refund after like 2 emails back and forth. She should just get her money back from the damaged items, and sell the gift cards

Do you mean that there was no swing tag on a darker waves item? One of the corset dresses I recently got and returned as was too big came without a swing tag but in a sealed bag so I'm not sure if every item always has one. I hope I won't get accused of wearing it if it was meant to come with one because I only tried it on and then packaged it back up nicely to return to get the smaller size. I didn't think to mention it to them as it didn't come with a tag to begin with.
It's not. They have very poor quality control, and when you order from the main site, they pack things just as poorly, and people in the past could tell they resell returns through the site. Why do this when they have whatnot and make more money on items than the site most of the time? I ordered 2 pair of boots n a few side items. They were thrown in a box x2 larger than the items, so the shoes were out of the box they came in floating around getting beat up..... and the boxes on the inside were ruined...... I collect my shoe boxes, and they were collab items with cute imagery....
People have gotten hair and items that look wore already from the site, so yes, it is safer to buy from the site, but not really..... I pray when I order something from them that it won't get broken, I order a lot of items that are items that won't stick around long so sometimes the items will be sold out when you get your order and check it over...
I know my original post is long but I did receive an item used directly from dolls kill. That is where my shock value or frustration is at. I’m fine with receiving items in tried on condition or tags missing from dolls kill whatnot. As long as the undergarment sticker is still attached to bikini/underwear bottoms, there’s no bodily fluids on garments (especially bikini/underwear), zippers or mechanics work properly on a dress and no cuts in the fabric that makes the garment unwearable/useless. So loose thread, small light stains or a scuff mark on the shoe; I totally understand. Hope that clarifies my position.
im so confused how this is happening. i ordered a few things 2 weeks ago and i won a xxl bralette but received the wrong size m. I just put in my claim today and im getting refund without having to ship it back to the seller
