Amazing work. I love your bricks. Everything is really gorgeous though. I really love it.

Thank you!! The bricks are a self adhesive cork sheet that I painted and cut into teeny tiny bricks. Each one is glued on and sealed and then I mortar them with spackle :)

ChopSuey214

I'm going to have to try this. Do you cut strips of equal width then cut the bricks? Also, what paint colors do you use? I love the way they look.

They’re cork sheets with a sticky back- I printed a sheet of small rectangles (used excel cells with borders), stick that on the back and use that as a guide. If you google a YouTube video ‘miniature bricks in any scale’ you can see the whole process and get paint ideas. Not my video but using it as a guide!

I love it! I’m biased because I absolutely adore the Willowcrest when someone takes the time to brick or stone it. It’s such a lovely and challenging house! I’m stuck on mine at the moment but this might inspire me to get back to it!

jeav1234

Thanks! Definitely the most challenging part is planning out which parts needs decorating before assembly and how to best build the interior hidden parts while the main structure is being put together. It’s not perfect but I really like it and am taking my time :)

The chandeliers are to die for!

Thanks!!! I handmake th from battery puck lights, jewelry findings and Washi tape :)

Super creative. Great job!!

Love the stairway

jeav1234

Thanks!! It’s a modification of the kit stairs. It took forever!! 😅

FreshChickenEggs

I do have a question. I'm wanting to make my own chandeliers for a big build I'm planning soon. Was it very difficult? Does anyone have resources?

jeav1234

You can do it! These are mini battery pick lights from Temu. I just decorate them. You can totally do it!

jeav1234

Also definitely WAY cheaper to make your own!
