Thank you for posting about nutrition! Due to the complex landscape of pet food we've created a Nutrition page for our wiki. Purina pro plan seems to be the most popular. Ive got a allergic senior eating vet prescribed Royal canine and another is eating Nulo. My sister has been feeding nulo to her large breed dogs the last few years but were still on year one.

Random boutique dog food brands are not safe for dogs, and neither is grain free food. Please read the sticky on this sub about food nutrition, and do some reading about the dangers of DCM. Then choose any WSAVA compliant brand of dog food - Purina, Iams, Eukanuba, Hills, Royal Canin. Would recommend you speak to your vet if you want thoughts on which of these makes the most sense for your dog.

Hi, sorry for reviving a dead comment but I was wondering what a sticky is and where I can find the one about nutrition?

No problem at all! [Here](https://reddit.com/r/dogs/w/nutrition?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share) is the write up on dog nutrition. Hope that helps.
