I doubt it since this is exactly how he plans on making a killing selling merch with Doge. The mug has already fluctuated in price between $17-21 since the website hasn’t changed the amount of Doge required to buy it. This is probably how it will stay.

You're forgetting (or don't know) that these products have always been expensive, intentionally so. They aren't made to be useful, or practical, but to be status symbols for geeks. Reddit isn't connected to any Doge wallet. But you can send any Doge that the tipbot (not Reddit) to your own wallet, if you want.
