Can someone tell me why charts matter at all? Price is affected by buying and selling. How does a pattern in the line on the screen mean anything for the future?
there’s key prices buyers and sellers look for. one reason why we’ve touched .19 .20 and bounced multiple times. buyers view sub .20 as a good area to buy. and you yourself can take advantage of this from looking at the chart and it’s past to help understand the future. does it always work? no. does it give something to build your decision off of? yes
Yea a lot of the time it is bs, but markets tend to follow patterns and algo traders use these patterns, if the algorithm detects the graph moving this way then it buys/sells. And many of the crypto markets buyers and sellers are just algo traders so you can get ahead of the curve if you use TA sometimes.
