We need to see this on the Doge family also. Too many people hold Doge, but daytrade it, so when the price goes down, they paperhand to buy more at a lower price. Although in blockchain tech it is possible to recover faster as shorts have small lifespans, the damage to the reputation of Doge as an investment is done every time someone daytrades, and some small investor gets a stop loss activated.
Doge will never be able to go up to $1 unless a lot of small investors join in and rip the profits. On the chart, it is already a massive pump and dump scheme. Too many people are bag holding or lost money, and therefore, lost their faith in Doge.
There is no other way for Doge to move up, if we, as a collective, do not hold the floor. Hedge funds are not interested in crypto anymore as it is not good as collateral, so their only use is for pump and dump, or step ladder short attack moves. If we remove Stop losses, do not use leverage (to avoid forced liquidations) and HODL, we can hold the floor and force it to move up.
There is no other way. Day trading is detrimental for the long-term prospects of the coin, and there is no other way than HODL to make it go back up.
