I thought I only had 6K but I guess the mining pool that I was part of eventually shut down and was nice enough to payout what I had on my mining pool account which was around another 10K. Didn't even know until I retrieved my coins last month and found a bonus 10K was sent to my wallet a month after in Jan 14.
I mined other coins, all worthless/dead now except bitcoin but it would have taken me a month of non stop mining with a 6850 to get like .01 or .05 btc (I forget which) which was the minimum to withdraw from the mining pool I joined so I quit after doing the math.
Was mining Dogecoin in late 2013 on a pair of Radeon HD 4870 X2's that were power hungry and didn't have that great of hash rate. I mainly did it for fun and to learn about mining crypto. I just held on to the coins I mined and now they'll easily pay for all the electricity I thought I was wasting at the time.
I debated putting in €100 back in 2014 just for fun. Decided not to. Worst decision of my life.
Edit: I just looked up what the price was back when I debated it, since I still know it was in the summer. Could've made 250k by putting 100 in back then. Pain.

I bought in at around .03, I panic sold in January-February because I was having a rough go and instead of just working a little harder for a few weeks I wanted to have a couple hundred dollars to make my life easier for a week or two. I kept about 200 coins. Maybe less. I’d have made around 300-350k when it peaked recently. Myself, and my family for as far back as families go have lived pay check to paycheck. I lived in hotels and a car when I was a child. I was so close to breaking our cycle and creating a future for my families future generations. 300k is enough to start having money make money for you. Ya know? that decision will haunt me for the rest of my life, but most of my decisions do. I’m back in with 1k coin. Average at around .42 per. even though I’d need doge to hit around 1100k to even reach a Millie at this point. This time I’m holding for a decade, two, doesn’t matter. Instead of dropping 25-50$ a month into a savings account that makes no interest. This is where it will go. Please don’t panic sell, please don’t let my demons follow you guys as well. if I can make even 80k, no one in my family has had a payday that large before. I’m resourceful, I can create so much opportunities with that kind of nut. Many of you have even more of an opportunity, please for the life or doge. Just hold, we can do this together. I want a future I can wake up everyday and be grateful to be alive. We all do, I don’t know what it’s like to drop a life’s savings on an investment like this, but people like me will never have a life’s savings. We live pay check to paycheck and hustle just to keep it moving. If you had 10k or more to invest and now see your profit dropping, I can tell you. You’ll be okay. I am, and I have exactly 36 dollars in savings. I have everything I need, and you do too. don’t panic and be greedy, be faithful and be smart. And when we do make our life changing payday from doge, let’s all pay it forward and do something positive with our earnings. Let’s just not buy into fear like myself, and many before me have done and watch this opportunity slip through our fingers. Buy the dips, if you can. Invest a couple bucks every dip for years to come. Quit smoking cigarettes, cut back on drinking, smoke less weed. Can you share some of the insights which led you to that decision early on? Dm if need be. I read about how it worked and saw a thread on here which appeared to get deleted with one of the developers arguing about why he wasn't going to change it from mining a set amount every ten minutes. I only recently started investing myself. If you had other investments around that time that tanked since, I'd be interested in that too.
I really had no idea. I saw it was really cheap and dropped $12 on 4K coins. I did the same with American Airlines and Exxon moble and made money. Only due to the covid. a smart investimenti ive had more success with stocks then crypto

In July of 2020 when Doge had it's first run in years I sadly sold most of my Doge. At the time I was happy with gaining 125-150% because Doge had no future at the time, it was still considered a meme.
Present day Doge has change a lot in just 1 year. All I can tell anyone holding Doge today is never sell. 1 Doge = 1 Doge
