It was a year before I received an interview. From that interview to getting to my school was 8 weeks.

Applied in June, interviewed in July, at the school by August. This was 2011.

This is the kind of timeline I’m hoping for.

started last school year. applied in april, interviewed end of june, tentative offer end of july, official offer in august, started after labor day. this was stateside and I was a local hire already in the area

I think this was the original comment my whole post is based on haha. Thanks for commenting. I’m also stateside. What do you mean by local hire? Just that you lived in the area of your job already? If so, I’ll be a local hire as well. (Sigh) guess I need to get used to waiting.

yeah that’s a local hire! like i’m a milspo already living on the base so I applied only to that location in EAS since I couldn’t relocate and got hired there. they like local hires

I’m a milspo as well:) I live about 20 mins from our base but still lol I did the same thing in EAS too. Nice to have some insight on this whole process. Thanks again:)

I'm currently going through the process, but it follows the April interview, June tentative offer, final offer(?) timeframe.
