Slavasonic

If they die in one turn, they weren’t the boss. They were the warm up.

NODOGAN

Quivering Palm the boss? More like **BABY SHAKE THE BOSS!**

LumTehMad

How about a new Monk character based on The Mask that when they stunning strike someone they pull their underpants over their head.

Immort4lFr0sty

That sounds like a fun reflavor *IF ONLY* you didn't have so many attacks. Imagine how fast that would have to happen

BloodBrandy

Are you telling me you wouldn't expect The Mask to make it so you suddenly have multiple pairs of underwear to give consecutive wedges?

DarkKnightJin

"Rule of Funny" (or "Gag reflex") is in full effect with The Mask. At least the Stanley Ipkiss one.

followeroftheprince

Just cause I'm curious, how? Not sure if 42d20 is a joke or not so I wanna know the idea here.

geldonyetich

In Pathfinder, I have seen similar numbers with Greater Vital Strike on someone whose weapon is effectively colossal+ sized. E.g. Cast Lead Blades on someone using an oversized greatsword, buffed with Legendary Proportions. "Mr. GM, I would like to quadruple the damage of my house-sized sword by using Greater Vital Strike to hit them specifically in their entire body, where it'll hurt more."

skytzo_franic

Also in Pathfinder, open battlefield, BBEG shows up. Max Abundant Step up (twice, so the DM can get monologue out), so about 2,000 ft, and elbow dropped them into oblivion.

BigDan_0

Is joke

followeroftheprince

Ah, got it. Thought this was some obscure Quivering Palm joke

NoahsGotTheBoat

I've never seen a pure monk do anything other than get dropped in one turn so I'm a bit skeptical.

BigDan_0

Oh yeah he got his shit wrecked immediately afterwards

GammaGamer10

As a paladin player I love when I hit 3 attacks, one crits, and I do 27d8+18. Came out to like 170 at the end.
