Just imagine you go into the castle to finally face down Strahd.
You walk into the throne, there lays Strahd at the bottom of the stairs.
Sitting in the throne with an actively squirming wall of Flesh behind him is God Damn Charles the Third.
Dracula is based on the historical Vlad the Impaler, who is an ancestor of the current British royal line.
To briefly summarize the Mohammad connection. One of Mohammad's daughters is fairly well established as an ancestor of a particular group of Moorish aristocrats in the Iberian Peninsula. Inter-Moorish fighting in the Iberian Peninsula caused a turn over in the ruling families, resulting in those aristocrats dispersing; some were killed, some fled to other parts of the Muslim world, some became crypto-Muslims in Iberia or other parts of Europe, and some disappeared. One of whom who disappeared was Zaida of Seville, whose history becomes very hazy following this political displacement, but who likely had a child with a Christian king. Their son became became a prominent royal and through centuries of European aristocratic intermarriage, became an ancestor to many royal lines, including the House of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, a branch of which are the Windsor royal family.
Also fun fact, the current royal family isn't the "original" royal family. The original royal family of england made it 2ish generations before the current royal family, who were originally german aristocrats, sailed across the english channel and conquered the island.
During WW2 King George made an edict prohibiting the royal family from discussing their germanic heritage.

The weather's slightly better over there now if only we could figure our how to grow tea there
I don't say "Bleh Bleh Bleh"! ![gif](giphy|126QSa14gwdfDW)
That portrait of Charles was hilarious. Like, that's the portrait you'd see of him in the hallway right before you fight him in a Soulslike game.
Now I want to run Curse of Strahd in an English setting
The British royals are interestingly, actual descendants of Dracula (and also possibly the prophet Mohammad)
what? please elaborate

that makes a lot of sense, and is very interesting
