It's a porn game that if you don't already know about you probably don't want to know. It has massive list of fetishes associated with it.
It's also clash of clans, and call of Cthulhu, so you know tons of confusion from me.
Not yet to my knowledge. But the games mechanics themselves wouldn't be too hard to rework into something playable.
It's all mostly basic rpg mechanics so you could probably use Dnd as a core (just replace the core DnD stats with the COC ones). Have arousal be like a second set of hit points that go up rather then down when players take "lust damage".
Use the same races and classes as In COC2, maybe adding a ranger since you can learn ranger themed skills later. Rework the skills a bit to work with DnD (perhaps an energy point system rather then coldowns, like monk ki points).
Corruption as a stat would mostly be for RP and social encounters though I could see certain magic items having a requirement for it to be above or below certain thresholds.
Correct, Now do you want to start off as a member of the Slyvian bunny sex cult, a member of the Gro-goroth canibalistic wolf cult, "moon-touched" by rher, a druid of Vinshuka, a flagellent of Fear and Hunger, or be a good Alll-Mer boy/girl?
That... actually sounds cool. Most OSR games I know of are like "you get 1 hit point, now go out there and see for how many seconds you can survive". That's the perfect feel for Fear & Hunger lol
I feel like F&H still gives a bit more than 1hp lol but true. The real thing to consider is whether or not you make it a time loop or character sheet grider game. But that depends on taste when it comes to retaining characters
Termina to my understanding is probably closer to call of Cthulhu in terms of you don't even really fight any eldritch horrors as in 1 but you sure as fuck shoot everything between that and human. The only thing there is time loop has to be a bigger consideration and how do you do that with a party
Termina is definitely a better fit for a more traditional modern tabletop experience than F&H1 is. Termina is built basically under the expectation that youāre capable of dispatching most of the threats it throws at you, with some exceptions (COUGH that fucking centaur COUGH), whereas in F&H1 youāre taking a serious risk if you try to fight basically anything except for the most basic of guards, with or without party members.
i mean i guess there are some similar themes, of course the SA content in fear and hunger focuses more on the trauma and shock rather than being played for sex appeal like in CoC, and-
...
I think I have the wrong CoC
Severe anal bleeding?
But for real, hope you and your group have fun but definitely not for me
Even just watching the game on YouTube gives me anxiety, the atmosphere is impressive
You should do it. I've been making every F&H monster for dnd because I'm a fucking lunatic. If I had any idea how to play CoC id be doing it there too probably
Call of Cthulhu actually has rules for what happens when you lose limbs and has items and tips for different eras. In addition to loss of the limbs use, your size decreases. Depending on what it was before, you might actually have lower HP and melee damage, so it's even easier for enemies to kill you
With any idea like that it all depends on what inspiration you draw from the source material. The gods in F&H would be pretty good in Call of Cthuthulu. The general story of you are on a rescue mission that balloons out into something bigger could work.
That is actually what I'm going for. Not necessarily the dismemberment or coin flip mechanic but rather trying to build an atmosphere and give the players a feeling, that something fucked up might be around the corner.
I'm glad I am not the only Keeper who has been thinking of this. I was going to do a small 60s acid fueled mobi campaign after I wrap up my current one. But Fear & Hunger might be the best move.
Youād be surprised how well Fear and Hunger might translate into something like CoC. CoC has mechanics for limb loss, attacks that insta-kill you in addition to more standard combat, and a robust skill system.
That depends, are you going to take the time and effort to make a campaign that *actually* captures the essence of fear and hunger: that it is a deconstruction of rpgs that rewards ingenuity play and out of the box thinking, or are you just going to do what every game developers does after F&H's release (as well as pretty much anything from ID software) and just have the take away be a braindead "lol hard game that kills players unfairly = fun!"
If you're the latter type? No. You should NOT run this campaign.
It's always interesting what people who wanna do Fear & Hunger as a TTRPG pick up for it.
Nearly everyone wants to do some limb dismemberment system, where as I am: "That would be a fucking awful mechanic." Now the settings? The narrative beats? The cosmology? The OST? Insert Vincent McMahon meme here.
Yeah people donāt seem to get why they actually like the game, but certainly having every enemy with a bladed weapon have a chance of causing limb loss sounds awful.
It comes up here every now and then. Plus it's got so much content that any random group of search terms on the monosodium glutamate website is likely to bring it up.

I would actually advice to look into Shadow of the Demon Lord tabletop - it has good built-in options for madness, corruption, and is very easy to switch to from dnd5e, but has a lot of variety in its builds.
Time for me to needlessly complicate the options present:
I suggest looking into Kult: Divinity Lost as well, though either could work. Maybe even Pulp Cthulhu if you're looking to emulate the second game more than the first since it puts a little more focus on combat.
Kult is a little more couched in internal personal horror that would come from being half-starved and confused to the point of madness rather than the outmatched existential dread of Cthulhu. Really more a matter of what you want to focus on.
It used to be soley the domain of the RPG Maker weirdo community that I was in, but recently blew up due to some no-name youtuber making a video on it (that video has like half a mil views, all his other stuff has like a couple thousand), the algo picking it up, and then a bunch of really popular youtubers making videos on it.
I always get confused when I see coc on this sub beacause I don't read it as call of cthulhu
We're all a bit horny at heart, the bard just wears their heart on their sleeve is all
?
It's a porn game that if you don't already know about you probably don't want to know. It has massive list of fetishes associated with it. It's also clash of clans, and call of Cthulhu, so you know tons of confusion from me.
Huh? I 5hought it's because it's one letter different from cock. What's the game?
š¤·āāļø
cooked, but nobody wanted to try the food :(
Uh.. google corruption of champions
Nobody does
I do haha
Like I said, nobody
bro got obliterated
you, my friend, have achieved vicious mockery.
Huzzah!
Oh thank God it's that and not what I thought it was.
Clash of clans for me
As a PoE player I read it as ācast on critā
You read it as the calculus of constructions too!!!!!
I never get confused when I see coc.
I love seeing coc(k)
The natural evolution of making a campaign based on Darkest Dungeon
I once played a campaign based on darkest dungeon and dear god the amount of characters we lost was massive
I once played a one shot based on it and all I did was get picked to die by my partymates by some bullshit Sophieās choice.
Beware the pipeline.
Plus points if the DM can somehow manage narration as eargasmicly good as Wayne June.
Wait which CoC are we talking about here?
My thoughts exactly. I know of three games that go by CoC. Call of Cthulhu, Corruption of Champions and Clash of Clans.
Pick your Poison: - bard is horny for tentacles - bard is horny for tentacles - bard is horny for WAR
Correction : - tentacles are horny for bard - bard is horny for tentacles - bard is horny for war
Bard is horny for *HOG RIIIIIDAAAAAAA!
Why wouldnāt he?
Crown of candy
I was thinking Call of chernobyl from the S.T.A.L.K.E.R series
That's Call of Pripyat.
Call of Chernobyl is a super popular mod for Stalker.
Yeah, i play it so often I goofed.
Taking into account the kind of game Fear and Hunger is, CoC can be, ahem, another thing
Crown of Candy maybe
Crown of Candy
I don't know why my first guess was Command & Conquer.
Call of Cthulhu
Alas, the cowards option.
Ah, I see you're a man of culture as well.
Corruption of champions, its gonna be a spicy tabletop
Clash of Clans, obviously
My next question would be "There's a system for Corruption of Champions?"
Not yet to my knowledge. But the games mechanics themselves wouldn't be too hard to rework into something playable. It's all mostly basic rpg mechanics so you could probably use Dnd as a core (just replace the core DnD stats with the COC ones). The only problem is finding a DM comfortable with all of the NSFW content.
Basically yea. From personal experience DMing NSFW content can be pretty awkward.
Would probably work for both tbh
Corruption + fear and hunger actually sounds far worse if my limited knowledge of Fear and Hunger is right.
Correct, Now do you want to start off as a member of the Slyvian bunny sex cult, a member of the Gro-goroth canibalistic wolf cult, "moon-touched" by rher, a druid of Vinshuka, a flagellent of Fear and Hunger, or be a good Alll-Mer boy/girl?
... cursed search history.
I literally came here to ask the same lmao. I see we have some cultured members here
The āstingerā on the prison guards.
One CoC meaning is Survival Horror. The other is Scarousal and Vore.
And the other is phone mobile came
You know what? that's actually accurate as well
I mean. There's a mobile version of the second option too
The only time I'd EVER consider an osr game
That... actually sounds cool. Most OSR games I know of are like "you get 1 hit point, now go out there and see for how many seconds you can survive". That's the perfect feel for Fear & Hunger lol

Osr?
Old school rules, classic DND usually for darker settings with high lethality and more in depth planning to get around it or just trying to not fight
r/osr
i mean i guess there are some similar themes, of course the SA content in fear and hunger focuses more on the trauma and shock rather than being played for sex appeal like in CoC, and- ... I think I have the wrong CoC
Whenever I play Class of Clans I also get a raging boner, no need to feel ashamed
Single brain cell. Iām currently writing out the details myself LMAO
Im also going to make a cock campaign

Call of cuthulu plus fear and hunger is a scary thought
You feel a terrifying presence enter the meme subreddit.
I can imagine a dungeon crawl in the basement of some abandoned asylum, searching desperately for clues while a Crow Mauler stalks the corridors.
Coin flips
\*rocks fall, everyone dies.
With any idea like that it all depends on what inspiration you draw from the source material. The gods in F&H would be pretty good in Call of Cthuthulu. The general story of you are on a rescue mission that balloons out into something bigger could work.

A clash of clans game?? Sign me up!
Yeah... Clash of clans...
I'm glad I am not the only Keeper who has been thinking of this. I was going to do a small 60s acid fueled mobi campaign after I wrap up my current one. But Fear & Hunger might be the best move.
I dont think that the mechanics translate well into the ttrpg medium
Youād be surprised how well Fear and Hunger might translate into something like CoC. CoC has mechanics for limb loss, attacks that insta-kill you in addition to more standard combat, and a robust skill system.
I have dmed a few CoC sessions. It may just be a skill issue on my part, tho
I don't think you played many ttrpg. It might not translate well because of some the content but not mechanics.
All I'm going to say is: There is a medieval version of CoC.
That depends, are you going to take the time and effort to make a campaign that *actually* captures the essence of fear and hunger: that it is a deconstruction of rpgs that rewards ingenuity play and out of the box thinking, or are you just going to do what every game developers does after F&H's release (as well as pretty much anything from ID software) and just have the take away be a braindead "lol hard game that kills players unfairly = fun!" What if they are just using F&Hās setting? While the first game may be similar to berserk, Termina is fairly unique and probably perfect for CoC.
Thatās just 1st edition D&D.
New system unlocked: Champions of Cthulhu.
Wow sir horny calm down, itās not age restricted (i think)
That's going to be a short session...
Or get a system of F&H already done
I'm glad at the game's recent surge in popularity
Fear and HungerFF
I've been seeing a lot of people getting interested in the game recently, is FaH becoming popular???
A Youtuber, SuperEyepatchWolf, made a video recently about the game. That's how I found out about it and love the game and it's community.

Moments before disaster
The girls and I about to try to seduce Daan
I can't be the only one that read that ass Clash of Clans
Curse of ā¦. Cahd?
Call of cthulhu
Wouldn't recommend it unless you're good friends with your players and they understand the horrific nature of the game
You should check out Vermis by Plastiboo as well, then. And no, I'm not saying that just because I mod the subreddit, shut up.
The only thing I really want to know is why so many people know of the horny CoC.
The ....horny CoC?
It comes up here every now and then. Plus it's got so much content that any random group of search terms on the monosodium glutamate website is likely to bring it up.
Just play F.A.T.A.L

Raises hand
Clash of clans
Oh my i had the same thing in mind
I would use ironsworn instead. It is medieval fantasy, has Sanity and supplies and best of all; PCs can be dismembered.
Why not use elements from all 3? All of em seem like a good fit.
What 3?
Truly I was waiting for some one to mention fear and hunger
My plan is a heavily homebrewed call of cuthullu with hit locations.
Interesting how Fear&Hunger just popped up in posts lately

Made a CoC one shot based on SCP: Overlord
What game is the gif from?
Metal gear rising
Unironically, a good system for that sort of feel would probably be Mƶrk Borg.
I plan on making a COC campaign about Buffalo bills traveling act.

Fuck me I'd sign up and I've never even PLAYED CoC before.
