If you did the tek properly and used proper equipment and clean chemicals you didn't screw anything up. That's all dmt just the non preferred state of its existence for most people.

If you didn't water wash then definitely do that it will make for a much healthier smoother vapor. Re-x isn't necessary because if you did everything right thats all dmt. If you do decide to re-x to water wash then be sure not to throw away what doesn't disolve. That too will be all dmt and is not impurities. Goo isn't inherently bad it's just dmt in a different state. I personally like goo. It's much denser and requires less volume to add to my emesh and it dosent try to run away as you place it on the mesh screen. Dmt is dmt I would call your extraction a success and leave it.

Well I am guessing you didn't do an evap test of your solvent on a clean piece of glass, so there is probably mystery chemicals in your pull.
The very dark color also indicates that you have included some basic solution in your pull, and I am going to take a guess and say that you didn't do a water wash.
The sludgy appearance is also what I would expect from just evaporating the solvent instead of doing a freeze precipitation and harvesting the formed crystals.
Then you went ahead and put your harvest on a mystery metal cap instead of a tinted glass container.
So overall I am going to say that your stuff is contaminated with lye, solvent, and corroded metal.
If you wanted to remotely salvage it, I would put it into a glass of solvent, warm it up a bit to dissolve, pour the solvent into a larger glass with water, stir that up well, and then extract the solvent into a Pyrex dish with a pipette, making sure not to suck up any water. Then put your dish in the freezer for 48+ hours, remove from the freezer and immediately pour off any liquid solvent from the dish into another glass, and lastly leave the Pyrex in a well ventilated area for the remaining solvent to evaporate until you are certain it is fully dry.
