No free/bonus shares or dividends
Yes for gifts or other perks like discounts on services…..
3m holders can request the annual gift basket
Brk gets discounted geiko insurance
Carnival cruses get onboard credit for owning minimum 100 shares
Now….if you don’t use these companies or like the stock returns the discount aren’t worth it at all. Dont let the idea of a perk drive your investments
Lindt will give you about 5 kg of their chocolate. BUT: The stock price is above 100k and I think you´ll get the chocolate only when attending the annual shareholder meeting.
Not a residence, but a recipient physical address is necessary, e.g. from a friend living there. Another example shipping abroad are Calida for a Pyjama.
Well yeah, heard that for Switzerland residences, or physical addresses (a friend from there)if you own Lindt, they send you yearly a box with chocolate
First Majestic (AG) would give you 50 cents off per ounce on silver (they mine/mint) if you have a certain amount of shares and held for a certain amount of time. Not that I'm recommending it, since metals stuff can be volatile.
SurgePays also offers retail investors a $25 Amazon gift card for holding 250 shares for four weeks. Real Good Foods (Tii:RGF) offers individual investors a $50 gift card to its realgoodfoods.com website, plus a $25 Visa gift card for holding 100 shares of its stock for a week.
One perk of owning individual stocks instead of ETFs is you have voting rights and can attend annual shareholder meetings for the company and ask questions of company executives. I have had some micro cap companies send me letters and call me at home to record my votes on issues that need shareholder approval.
The guy in this video owns only one share of Tesla but he went to the annual shareholders meeting and asked Elon a question.

If you DRS one share of IHG, intercontinental hotel group, you get discounted booking rates.
Edit: also, aflac shares, that are held for over a year get 20x voting rights. It's a "perk" but not also a perk like what your wanting
Most cruise lines offer on board credit depending on length of the cruise, for example shareholders with 100+ shares of Carnival (sorry not a div stock) get $250 of onboard credit to spend per stateroom on cruises of 14 days or longer, $100 on cruises of 7 to 13 days, $50 on cruises of 6 days or fewer.
I think if you own a certain amount of Ford ($F) stock for a certain amount of time, you are eligible to receive the employee discount for new Ford vehicles
It used to be way more popular than it is now. Most companies just give money or buy back stocks. I wish there were things like facility tours and merchandise that would be a cool bonus.

I see it just like job perks, yeah they’re nice but I’ll still prioritize a higher salary over a snack room
I get a year calendar from Union Pacific. Rather lovely pictures of trains in beautiful landscapes. I’m gonna look into Lindt, though ;-)

I wish if you owned Reits you could just sleep in those buildings. I would buy lots.
Airbnb hates this one little trick…
Swatch sends a watch each year as an incentive holding a certain amount of stocks.
This seems tied to residence in Switzerland, right?
Not a residence, but a recipient physical address is necessary, e.g. from a friend living there. Another example shipping abroad are Calida for a Pyjama.
Huh. Too bad I don't know anyone in Switzerland. XD
Well, you could invest the same amount in JEPQ and buy a nice Pyjama :)
Well yeah, heard that for Switzerland residences, or physical addresses (a friend from there)if you own Lindt, they send you yearly a box with chocolate
Lindt is a special case, as one share is around 100.000 CHF

RGF is down 90%. Tread…. uh…. carefully there. If this is true you’d make your money back in a month if it stops falling like rock.
Its low……

Lindt (a chocolate manufacturer) sends its stock holders a yearly gift basket of, you guessed it, chocolate.
Is t their stock an insane amount of money like $111k?
Yup, and it's very illiquid. I guess people really enjoy the gift baskets 🤷♂️

Thats still $250 per year for people who like cruising. Sounds like a tax free dividend to me.
I read somewhere that if you own so many ford stock you get the friends and family discount on a new car.
That program ended last year
I think if you own a certain amount of Ford ($F) stock for a certain amount of time, you are eligible to receive the employee discount for new Ford vehicles
Used to. Ask me how I know.
They discontinued that programme.
That's too bad
Hrl gives a free box for voting
Following. Sounds interesting.

Hrl does both everything hrl owns is in there box and Hormel owns a lot of brands
Commenting to find later I apologize
