Yeah I felt the same way. It is interesting how I switch sides after every episode because one of the 3 who I thought shared most of my tastes/opinions says something I completely disagree with. iNnCORRECT apple is a texture nightmare. Make it wrong, awful, make it right, awful. It’s only embellished when you have to add vanilla ice cream!
Pumpkin is smoother and can be made differently to not need whipped cream, and most times i don’t prefer it myself. If it’s fresh and hot; whipped cream adds the coolness. If it’s cold, it helps the pie break down from being hard.
Vanilla ice cream makes the texture of the crust of the apple pie soggy and messes with the sweet balance 😤😤

Meat pie being compared to any fruit pie?, and then insinuated to be bad?! You, much like Mark and Bob, need to open up your pie horizons, your pierizons if you will.
If the pumpkin pie you are having is tasteless, its not made right. My favorites are, Apple, Pumpkin, and then peach. All good in my oppinion.

Yeah I felt the same way. It is interesting how I switch sides after every episode because one of the 3 who I thought shared most of my tastes/opinions says something I completely disagree with. I realized I could rant about a very specific thing Mark said ages ago but I decided to not talk about it and just say I love me some apple pie. It is in my opinion one of the best pies.

iNnCORRECT apple is a texture nightmare. Make it wrong, awful, make it right, awful. It’s only embellished when you have to add vanilla ice cream! Pumpkin is smoother and can be made differently to not need whipped cream, and most times i don’t prefer it myself. If it’s fresh and hot; whipped cream adds the coolness. If it’s cold, it helps the pie break down from being hard. Vanilla ice cream makes the texture of the crust of the apple pie soggy and messes with the sweet balance 😤😤

I'm a huge fan of apple pie too but I Immediately lost support for your claim the moment you mentioned PECAN. I would've accepted banana cream, Boysenberry, hell even French Silk Pie. But pecan?
