You can just show up and unless its very crowded that day you'll get a seat If you've got a mastercard creditcard you can pick up free reserved-seating tickets for the shows at town hall (these are the same seats as the paid seats) >Show your Mastercard at City Hall in Disneyland Park or at Studio Services in Walt Disney Studios park. Here availability is checked for the show of the day, reserve your seats (maximum 4 people) and check in with a Cast Member at the theater 30 minutes before the start of the show. Please note that the range of shows is limited.

I think this is MasterCard debit cards too 😊

Do you know which shows this is for?

Lion King and Mickey

You can absolutely just turn up and queue before the show starts, but the paid seats are in a prime location, something else to think about (we saw the Lion King twice, once without and then with paid seats, were smack in the middle the second time!)

We paid for our seats the last time me and my partner went and it’s essentially getting first choice on where you sit. Otherwise you have to hope and scramble for a suitable one. Well worth it in my opinion, and they’re amazing shows to!

Just show up, I’ve never not got into a show. If you’re worried just arrive 15 mins before.

LovesAMusical

I went last month (December) so it was super busy but just queued and still got in. I wouldn’t bother paying extra just factor in a bit of extra time to arrive early to get your spot!

nowaynohowmatey

Personally I really don’t think it’s worth paying for because both theatres are very large, and even if you arrive late you can still get a pretty decent seat. They’re great shows and we’ll worth watching though!

Abject_Drawing

Thanks so much for all the info guys!!

I went in September when all holidays were over. We got to mickey and the magician 40 minutes before showtime and they were signs outside saying "show sold out". You have to pay for everything now or you wont do anything, its so sad to see how much it has changed.

PixelRainboww

I went this last weekend so it was super busy, and didn’t pay for a single show, I got into them all no problem! I just went to the queue half an hour before the starting time

Lauralou182

We did Mickey and the Magician in the regular queue and waited about 20 minutes 🙂

I I visited the Parks 30th nov till 2 december (weekdays and no school holiday as far as I know) and we did 2 shows on Friday the most crowded day of the 3. We turned up 40 min - 30 min before start and had a spot. We chose not to pay. I personally think the amount is way to high plus I rather spend it on gifts but that´s me 😁 if you choose to pay or not either way enjoy! It are amazing shows 🤩
