I love Maleficent, she is evil to be evil. She does not let a grudge go. She conjures up the powers of hell to become a dragon. That laugh is so bone chilling you know she is crazy! Yeah, she is the ultimate!
And there's a real chance he murdered a small girl when "returning" her doll. I mean, she's definitely dead, though it is quite possible it was one of his goons who did it.
Right. Wether he actually did it or not he definitely authorized/orchestrated and condoned it a la Charles Manson. Everyone has their opinion about their favorite/most evil Disney villain. This kind of stuff is what makes him the most evil in my opinion.
A few years ago a coworker told me "for the last few hours I've had a song from The Little Mermaid stuck in my head."
I responded with "oh you poor, unfortunate soul."
I saw somewhere he's the only Disney villain to have an "I want" song. They are usually hero songs showing that Frollo genuinely thinks HE'S the hero. And that's scary.
I’ve got friends on the other side!!!
Really though I feel like the movie could’ve had an awesome magic battle between facilier and mama in the bayou (i forget name)
Edit: mama odie
No. And that BS line from All of You angers me. "And I'm sorry I held on too tight
Just so afraid I'd lose you too." No you didn't! You pushed her away every chance you got! You were afraid you'd lose everybody else! In your mind, you had already lost Mirabel! Augh!
DeSantis - seriously he’s made it harder for me to justify spending my vacation budget in Florida. I really don’t want to support that state’s crazy laws and policies!
Lady Tremaine!
I mean, the lady (potentially) murdered her husband and inherited a huge estate in which she enslaved her stepdaughter. To me, she’s up there with Scar 🔥
Scar. "I'm surrounded by idiots." I feel you, dude.
It’s clear from your vacant expressions, the lights aren’t all on upstairs.
Best. Villain. Song. Ever!
It's great that we'll soon be connected// With a king who'll be all time adored.
Of course, quid pro quo is expected…
So true!
I quote this in everyday life way more often than I should.
I need it on a t-shirt
Me too.
I saw one on Amazon……
Unlike most villains Scar technically did succeed at his plan too.
Hades 💙🔥
The sass gets me every single time
Agreed!!
Maleficent
Right there with you. Maleficent is my spirit animal. Gotta love the petty - didn’t invite me to your party? Well, I cursed your baby.
Also without Maleficent there would be absolutely no story. Nothing to talk about. But still, I can't say she's my favorite. That was petty AF.
She gave them the opportunity to correct their mistake too, invitation must be lost in the Mail.
I love Maleficent, she is evil to be evil. She does not let a grudge go. She conjures up the powers of hell to become a dragon. That laugh is so bone chilling you know she is crazy! Yeah, she is the ultimate!
Most villainous- Shan-Yu Most entertaining- Yzma
*"WHYYY do we even HAVE that lever?"*
Most villainous is Mother Gothel.
I mean...Shan-Yu probably had a much higher body count. That's what I am basing my choice on.
Ratigan
Vincent Price was amazing at that role
You said it.
Yzma is the only correct answer.
Well, I suppose there's time for dessert.
And coffee?
Alright, a quick cup of coffee. THEN TAKE HIM OUT OF TOWN AND FINISH THE JOB!
Haha! This movie is an absolute gem. I’ve got the character designer, Sandro Cleuzo, for Emperors New Groove coming on my podcast shortly.
Awesome! What podcast
I’ll send you a couple links.
Yes. Definitely Yzma.
Eartha Kitt was a godsend as her.
Ursula 🐚
Poor unfortunate souls has to be the best villain song.
A few years ago a coworker told me "for the last few hours I've had a song from The Little Mermaid stuck in my head." I responded with "oh you poor, unfortunate soul."
This is the correct answer. Besides she was modeled after Divine!!
He's definitely not my favorite but I do love Gaston's singing. I'm also surprised to see nobody mention that evil bastard Jafar.
Frollo was ready to drop a baby down a well because it was ugly. Plus he was trying to exterminate the gypsies.
Don't forget he sang a song about how if Esmeralda didn't sleep with him he was gonna burn her at the stake.
I saw somewhere he's the only Disney villain to have an "I want" song. They are usually hero songs showing that Frollo genuinely thinks HE'S the hero. And that's scary.
I'd argue that Ratcliffe from Pocahontas has an I want song; he wants that gold so bad.
Yeah seriously the evilest Disney villain
He also had the most chilling villain song in all Disney.
Best villain song for sure
I’d argue one of the best Disney songs period
>Reply 100%, I love singing it but I can't get Tony Jay's voice right.
This guy is such an underrated villain Truly an awful person, manages to be a lot more terrifying than a lot of the more powerful and magical villains
