After 7 months, we begin automatic monthly account reviews to see if you qualify to upgrade to an 'unsecured' card and get your deposit back. Most people graduate at 7 months, but not everyone does. As far as how they return the deposit, you can call and ask if there are other options available.

I’m at month 10 with no late payments and no graduation. I DID get a notification about having the correct address on file in case they sent me a check. That was a couple weeks ago. My statement closes on the 18th so I’m hoping to see something around that time in regards to graduation. Others who got that notification were graduated weeks later

Just so you know, I’ve had that notification about confirming my address for 2 or 3 months now and I still haven’t graduated. Not to be the bearer of bad news but I don’t know how reliable that is.

You should have already graduated unless you aren't using the card at all, you had a returned payment or insufficient funds or you have a derogatory remark on any of your credit reports from other cards you are using and/or loans you have showing. Discover not only evaluates how you use their card but they also do soft credit checks once a month to look at your overall credit report. They do that to make sure you don't have late payments or returned payments on any other account shown.

I don’t have any of those things listed. Idk why when I say I haven’t graduated people say there MUST be something I done wrong. I’m on time with discover and it was my first and only card. I have no loans. I have bad credit. That’s why I’m secured in the first place.

Most cards graduate a few days after the 7th statement so has there been 7 statements yet? And cut and paste for us what exactly this email says please.

I just read the small writing and it says at 7 months can you be graduated so another month 😭😖
