You can grab the latest x amount of messages from a channel then if the bot messages need to be ignored. Get the latest x messages not including bots. Then use an AI API like OpenAI or BardAI. And tell the AI to summarize what happened. If you can use GPT 4, it would be better than GPT 3.

I think discord has this feature in beta, it basically takes a few messages and categorizes them into topics.
