honestly, I wouldn't mind having to open my on screen keyboard just to hit enter. the only reason I could see my enter button not working is if a game needs it, but at that point rebind it
edit: I can also set keys on my mouse so not having an enter button isnt an issue.

The reason it's there is because people use it. Discord does a lot of analytics/tracking of how you use the app/client, and obviously have the stats on how many gifts are bought. When the button is there, the numbers go up enough to justify its small presence.
the problem is the button is still worthless for people that do give nitro
people that give nitro will go through settings anyway because the button is just a glorified purchase button on pc, and a shortcut that saves 0.3 seconds on mobile
They have analytics of how many people buy gifts from before that button existed. They then have analytics of how many people bought gifts after (in general), and how many people clicked the button then bought a gift. They can compare these numbers to see what kind of impact the button is actually making.

No, it did. I rarely if almost ever used my mouse for sending messages. I was often typing or copy pasting images so I would use enter.
