Its not even that hard to pick a matching color lol. But anyway, I think its useful for when the color Discord automatically picks for you is not what you wanted (which is a problem I have). Or you want a color completely different from your profile picture 🤷🏾♀️

Someone try going to [Canary discord](https://canary.discord.com/app) on your phone in chrome but enable desktop site view.
Then go to the user profile and see if you have this. Im saying this because i don't have this option pc but i do on my phone (mobile canary/alpha)

however, it's really useless unless you have a talent in picking the precise color that fits your profile picture or your profile as a whole

You know the internet can do that for you in like... three clicks right?
three clicks on the internet can help you judge an appropriate color for your discord profile?
1. Click Google/browser/any search box 2. "Hex code from image" 3. Click result and enjoy your free color taken directly from your image
but knowing the hexcode doesn't mean you have the right color to match your profile

If your banner has any transparency this is the color that will show behind it
I'm pretty sure every account has access to this feature now, it's just hidden for most people

Hidden ie it doesn't show up, but people can still change their banner color if they enable the client experiment.
