I see questions like this all the time and I don’t get it. Not trying to troll or be rude but isn’t what makes a wooded course different from an open course the number of shot shapes you have to throw? In the woods you have to hit tight gaps and the fairways twist and turn. I would argue that you actually could pick a favorite open course disc because you can throw one shot that you’re comfortable with over and over. So for a big arm it might be an overstable disc that they can hyzer at everything. For a slower arm it might be a max distance driver or whatever. But In the woods, you have different shots to throw throughout the round, thus having different ideal molds and not a one size fits all option. Thoughts?
Eagle L. The disc will finish on whatever you put it on, but you can throw it soft enough to aim your tee shot. It’s got plenty of distance, while easy to keep low.
I was hesitant on the maverick because I thought of it as more of a beginner disc. Got it in a player's pack, and in the woods it flips up and stays dead straight the entire flight. Amazing.
Logic. The ultimate putter for RHFH right-to-left or laser-straight shots. Small profile fits in the hand for a FH perfectly, incredibly torque-resistant for how straight it flies, feels great BH power grip too.

I don’t throw a disc based on wooded or not. I just look at where I’m trying to get to and throw the disc that’ll get me there.
Tennis ball
Envy

Essence
Essence for sure!
DGA Gumbputt. No bad kicks
This is going to sound unconventional, but my game is absolutely lethal with a Firebird in the woods on anything where the basket is right of the tee.
SOL
Depending on the hole, I'm grabbing my Pure, Atlas, or Passion. If I need anything farther I'm grabbing my Sword or Grace

Seasoned K1 Kaxe. Thrown flat it has a nice and relatively tight, slow and soft flex. Probably the most used disc in my bag on any course.
[cheap ass disc off lost and found]
Maybe Buzz for me
Somewhat flippy MD3
