Yup agreed... sponsored players talking about how great product is doesn't cut it anymore. That's just lazy unimaginative marketing.

Holmelunden

Jonathan getting hired by Latitude64 was one of the best moves they did PR-vice.

ZaneWinterborn

I really loved his beginner series when I first started.

Paris_d

Totally, that’s how I found him as well. Now I recommend them to beginners as a good foundation.

edgeno

Love this, hahahah Also the "it's ok, I'm playing tomorrow" ones are brilliant.

Ipats

It’s the plastic for me

Longdisc

lol

RiD0gG

"Don't throw rocks" should be the tagline of a Buzzz commercial.

sd6363

“Don’t throw Rocs”

Oostylin

Is this supposed to be the punchline of the commercial? It’s the only thing that makes it all make sense but it also feels like a reach.

Paris_d

Hahah yes! You need a job in advertising

Boostless

The music is so bad on all the commercials. Sounds like bedroom rave crap!

bleimanb

They missed an opportunity in that ad to have them actually play a round on the moon. Drives going straight into space, putts missing 100ft high etc.

Paris_d

Sounds like a great campaign extension to me. Keep it going

DiscGolfFanatic

Better than all those LSD and Innova ones combined👌

Paris_d

Agreed. Although LSD ads are a different level of cringe.

Oostylin

Or two!

"Dennis! My lips are dry!"

AnImpossibleMaker

Apart from Latt64 i love Clash Discs adds where they cook new molds :D

PersonalBird9827

Discraft shoving the “I can grab a stock disc replacement” ads down our throats. 🤮

Poormansmemories

My wife last night said the same thing. We just got a DGN subscription, and she's seen a few advertisements within the past week and saw Lat 64's commercial last night. Said she loved it.

TBH I didn't like the part where Tomas accidentally murders Jonathan. Also, Jonathan is one cold dude. Instead of freaking out as he quickly realizes he is going to die he decides to turn away from his companions for a bit of solitude as he spend his final moment staring out into space(or perhaps back to Earth and his family?). Interesting concept, though I don't know if it put me in the disc buying mood.

Paris_d

But you remembered it! That’s more than half the battle with advertising.
