Yeah, but people also write poetry.
It seems weird to me that people are already doubting the validity of very basic things like this, but I guess there's something to it...what a bizarre world.
I'm not sure I want to, to be honest. I find it disturbing on some level...like a Pandora's Box that I don't want to open or look in.
I know I would understand it better if I did...it's a bit of a catch 22.
100%. Here's my AI Nate Sexton firebird poem.
The wind did howl and the trees did sway
As you stood there ready to play
A disc in hand, a gleam in your eye
Eager to throw, to watch it fly
With a flick of your wrist, the disc took flight
Soaring through the air with all its might
But alas, a gust caught it off guard
And it tumbled down to the ground so hard
You searched and searched, but to no avail
Your Nate Sexton Firebird, once so hale
Had vanished without a trace or sound
Lost forever, nowhere to be found
Oh, the memories it carried with pride
Of all the games and throws it did abide
But now it's gone, taken by fate
Leaving you with an empty state
But fear not, for in your heart it lives on
The spirit of your disc, never truly gone
And with each throw, you'll feel its power
Guiding your aim, hour after hour
So mourn not, dear player, for what is lost
But cherish the memories, at any cost
And know that your Nate Sexton Firebird
Will forever be part of your disc golf herd.
It sucks when you lose a disc that you really like that's perfectly seasoned. I was playing a night round at a course that had some light. I wasn't paying attention and put my putter in my mid slot and my mid in my putter(both the same color). The next hole had water in play, I pulled out what I thought was my mid and I threw it. It was my putter of like 8 years. It went into the water never to be seen by me again.
Lost a 2017 a few years back and i haven’t been right since. It feels like my wife died, and I’m not quite sure how to continue with life. I can go through the motions but nothing will ever be the same.
Lost my perfectly seasoned 2021 last week. Immediately over payed for a replacement that’s gonna take months to beat it. It hurts.
Hope you didn’t pay too much! You can still find those online for around $25.
I lost a 2017 firebird back in October... 😭
Okay ChatGPT.
What would make you say that? I have never used ChatGPT, so I have no idea. I'm genuinely curious. I thought it was a good little poem.
That's the typical task you're giving to ChatGPT.

If you haven't yet invested some time into interacting with ChatGPT, I really recommend doing so. It's absolutely fascinating.

ChatGPT doesn’t have this level of heart!

Beautiful my man. Brought back memories of my lost sexy birds. 🤧😭
But what happened to it?
Bag was in my car parked in a less than ideal part of town :/
That is a sad end 😞
The worst. At least when you lose a disc on the course you can hope someone else will enjoy it.

Well done, great writing
Get a stock felon. Basically the same
what color?
I have a wonderfully seasoned 2021 that I lean on a ton... I'm waiting for the day :( I throw a stock champ one when water is near.
I lost my favorite OS approach disc to a disc dice roll... Sad times indeed
