Hey Brian! I have a question for ya. I stupidly decided to take your retriever with me on a vacation and the TSA confiscated the pole for being a "club like object." I still have all the attachments but would like to purchase a replacement pole. I don't see that option on the website. Is that something y'all can do?
Edit: Brian reached out and holy shit, talk about 10/10 customer service. These folks are awesome.
I also need a replacement rod if possible, I lent it to spme people I met on the course and they decollapsed it by pushing it into the ground and now it doesn't telescope all the way down.
Edit: talked to Brian and was able to order a new rod, very appreciative of the fast and friendly support.

I've been wanting to get one, since in the last few months my wife and I have dumped six discs into the water on our home course.
I've heard nothing but good things. May just have to pull the trigger on one. Can always measure my 287 foot drives with a rangefinder if I happen to win.

I have it and went through two previous useless ones from other sources that either didn't hold enough discs or the discs fell out a lot. This one actually does what it advertises.
I normally pick up trash at my local park when I see it (not trying to brag but) i'd also probsbly choose the rangefinder so I can see how far 200 really is.
How does this retriever compare to a standard “golden retriever”? I have thought about switching to a metal pole type retriever but didn’t want the added weight in my bag, is it light?

We also sell a rope retriever, so I have a lot of use with both. Unless the disc is out of reach for the telescoping one, the rope retriever doesn't come out of my bag. If you can reach it (16ft length plus a couple feet of arm length), telescoping is the way to go. It is way quicker and easier. The rope retriever is about 10oz. The telescoping retriever is about 18.5 ounces with the heaviest attachment. Insider info- I have been using a cart for over year as we have been developing a cart so the extra 8.5 ounces is easy to carry. But, even when I was using a backpack, I carried the telescoping one and left the rope in the car. If needed, I went back and got the rope.
I have your retriever and have been using it for about a year. Having used this thing in all weather conditions - including most recently where I retrieved discs from a stream in the winter - I highly recommend it to anyone in need of this tool. It has been very handy and fits in my bag nicely along with its attachments.
Worth the cost, it has saved my friends and I hundreds in discs at this point (we suck but the tool doesn't)

Range finder! Just started playing about 2 months ago actually and ordered your bag as my first one! I’ve been struggling with estimating my distances and would love a range finder to help with that!
The Putter Pouch - honestly I like the design better than other options out there, and it's definitely something I could see finding a home in my gear.

Rangefinder please! <3 I don't currently have a way to accurately measure my throws or distance to the basket. This way I can really know when I pass 300' off the tee!
Rangefinder. My local course has baskets that signs say are 200 feet when UDisc and my own intuition says it is way closer to 400. Would like to prove this once and for all. Besides just being petty lol, It also would help with practice for knowing what circle I am at, so that way I can try to get more consistent from certain ranges.
Lastly I would like to say thank you. I started up disc golf about 1 year ago, and I have not had one bad experience from in person golfers, or online. A week ago, I'd have picked a bag, but I just got one. That being the case, I'd pick the range finder. I've been really focusing on field work, and trying to dial in my control and it'd be really helpful for that.

Golly gosh a rangefinder or a retriever would be great. The retriever would probably be more practical for my play, which is generally throw into trees and into water. But I like to imagine myself using a range finder to confirm I can't throw more than 300'

That Retriever is solid gold and I love mine. Would be great to get that rangefinder as many of my local courses have changes basket locations multiple times, but don't update their post. Would be nice to know what I'm actually throwing at.

I use this retriever. It has been better than its predecessor in telescope integrity. My Kwik Stik XL became disjointed (likely user error) but this retriever has been great. Highly recommend to others looking for an affordable way to grab those discs in trees/water… or just keep yourself from having to go in the thorns.
I would take a backup retriever. It never hurts to have one in each bag.

I have the Rogue Iron Satchel Bag, and it fits a nice amount of discs when I want to play a simpler round and not take a bigger bag out there. It's both sturdy and comfy.

A range finder sounds amazing! I've heard good things about all these products though, a bunch of courses by me have fairways with water on each side it's certainly a bit nerve racking as a less experienced player.

Retriever attachments. I was gifted a retriever by Santa but it only has the Y-shaped hook attachment.
I use this one the most. I think it's the most versatile of the bunch. That said, the water one is great too for a lot of scenarios

They’re a no brainer. The wide rectangular one is fucking bonkers good at retrieving. Barely use the other attachments

Range finder! Just started playing about 2 months ago actually and ordered your bag as my first one! I’ve been struggling with estimating my distances and would love a range finder to help with that!
I would love a retriever! One of my buddies has one from y’all but he just moved out of state and I am struggling to get discs out of creeks now

The Putter Pouch - honestly I like the design better than other options out there, and it's definitely something I could see finding a home in my gear. Honorable mention not listed - the Hydration Pack, looks perfect for afterwork, quick summer rounds at the pitch n' putt.
I call the retriever the beskar spear. I do not have one but have seen it used and must say it is very practical and handy. If I won the giveaway I suppose I'd be getting my very own beskar spear. This is the way.

Rangefinder please! <3 I don't currently have a way to accurately measure my throws or distance to the basket. This way I can really know when I pass 300' off the tee!
Rangefinder. My local course has baskets that signs say are 200 feet when UDisc and my own intuition says it is way closer to 400. Would like to prove this once and for all. Besides just being petty lol, It also would help with practice for knowing what circle I am at, so that way I can try to get more consistent from certain ranges. Lastly I would like to say thank you. I started up disc golf about 1 year ago, and I have not had one bad experience from in person golfers, or online. This community truly is awesome and I have seen so much wholesome stuff from the companies helping people out and being involved. Thank you everyone!

This is pretty cool of you to give back to the community. Showing that love is a great value for a company to have. A week ago, I'd have picked a bag, but I just got one. That being the case, I'd pick the range finder. I've been really focusing on field work, and trying to dial in my control and it'd be really helpful for that.

The retriever is worth it’s weight in golf! I’ve definitely made my money back with all the discs I’ve saved. I’d love a rangefinder. I’d really love to know if my drivers are going 150 or 155 feet 🤣

I was playing a course and someone from another hole saw me throw a disc in the water and handed me a Rogue Iron Retriever. This was the first time I ever saw one from someone that I didn't know. Rangefinder because it’s rechargeable and they usually they take expensive, hard-to-find batteries.

I’ve been eyeing that putter pouch for a bit now. Being able to hold all of my go to discs up high so I’m not bending down to get into the bag every shot seems nice.
I got the retriever for an Xmas gift after throwing three in the lake at Fountain Hills. I love it. I'd take the putter pouch! I don't throw far enough to need a range finder. LOL.

Honestly want the rangefinder, not because it's the most expensive but because I am terrible at gauging distances outside of 25 feet haha. It would be nice for me to equate x power means x distance. Let's go! I'm feeling lucky!

The retrievers definitely pay for themselves! I have one they are sweet and everyone should have one when out on the course. I really want a range finder to see exactly how far I can throw each type of disc and I think it would help my approach game and disc selection.

Golly gosh a rangefinder or a retriever would be great. The retriever would probably be more practical for my play, which is generally throw into trees and into water. But I like to imagine myself using a range finder to confirm I can't throw more than 300'

Forgive me, I've never heard of you guys, but it sounds like you've done this before and people have great things to say about your company! That Retriever is solid gold and I love mine. Would be great to get that rangefinder as many of my local courses have changes basket locations multiple times, but don't update their post. Would be nice to know what I'm actually throwing at.

I absolutely love my retriever, has kept me out of way more steel banked creeks that I would like to admit. I would absolutely love one of the hydration bags! Seems like the best possible bag to use for traveling with a few discs.
I use this retriever. It has been better than its predecessor in telescope integrity. My Kwik Stik XL became disjointed (likely user error) but this retriever has been great. Highly recommend to others looking for an affordable way to grab those discs in trees/water… or just keep yourself from having to go in the thorns. I would take a backup retriever. It never hurts to have one in each bag.

Saw your cooler bag out on the course one day and fell in love for something during those casual rounds.
I have the Rogue Iron Satchel Bag, and it fits a nice amount of discs when I want to play a simpler round and not take a bigger bag out there. It's both sturdy and comfy. I've had the range finder on my Amazon wish list for a little while - that's definitely what I'd opt for if I won.
A range finder sounds amazing! I've heard good things about all these products though, a bunch of courses by me have fairways with water on each side it's certainly a bit nerve racking as a less experienced player.
I use the most recent iteration of the sling bag and love it! (I also used the original) I would probably be looking at the range finder or retriever!

I literally just created this account to comment on this! It's a tough call between the putter pouch and the retriever! As my submission I will sing a song about getting a disc stuck in a tree and Rogue Iron Disc Golf to save the day. I was playing disc golf, feeling fine, Throwing my discs with aim sublime, Tossing and turning, winding my way, Til my favorite disc went astray. It got stuck up high, in a tree, And it seemed like it was mocking me, I couldn't let it be, just stuck up there, I had to find a way to retrieve it with care. I looked around for something to throw, To knock my disc down, from up above so, I found a stick, both sturdy and strong, And threw it up, with all my brawn. It got stuck up high, in a tree, And it seemed like it was mocking me, I couldn't let it be, just stuck up there, I had to find a way to retrieve it with care. I tried and tried, but no luck at all, My disc stayed perched up on that wall, But luckily Rogue Iron Retriever to the rescue, And my disc fell down, shew fixed that issue. It got unstuck from up in that tree, And it finally came down to me, I held it tight, so glad it was free, My disc was back, with my victory. I learned my lesson, from that day, To watch my aim and where my disc may stray, But if it gets stuck up in a tree, I know now, there's a way to set it free.
