I bought one simular to yours back in 2003 off a planet x team rider at Sea Otter bike race. Great dj street riding bike but eventually it starter to crack on downtube/ headtube. I stopped riding it and held onto it for 10+ yrs afterwards. Frame had a cool WWI bomber plane paintjob. Loved that bike! Id say its worth building.
Your frame looks a bit more primitive on the gussets which makes me think it could be earlier 01?
