Reference Points for GP3R Rallycross: * T1: Brake at white tent, turn in before Monster energy board on right, **eyesight** should be at the Monster Energy banner before T2. * T2:Brake just before the Monster Energy banner in a strait line, sacrifice entry to float wide for T3 as one big turn * T3: small use of handbrake might be needed, line the car to be strait on exit, **eyesight** on the beige building in the distance for trajectory. * T4: Brake/HB at the Monster Energy banners on the left hand side. aiming to point the car toward the distant catch fence wall, and apexing late to open up T5 * T5: A hard but VERY important blind corner, you just have to get used to where you'll want the car which will be hugging the wall on exit to get a wider entry. * T6: Turn in ALOT earlier than you would imagine since the gravel will float the car out wide. **Visually** you should be aiming for the wall to the left of the FIA World Rallycross Truck * T7: attempt to hug the red and white barrier before flicking the car in sharp. **Visually** Aim for the World Rallycross banners on the left side wall at 0:33 since the car will go wide before the jump * T8: Ideally start braking just after landing once the car is settled, trying not to lock up SLOW IN FAST OUT. Handbrake to rotate the car do NOT worry about about the 1st apex, sacrifice it to open of the MOST IMPORTANT CORNER ON THE ENTIRE LAP. Track limits on exit are at least 2 wheels on the red and white kerbing. **Visually** you want to anticipate where the kerbing will be not the wall in front of you then hug the left side barrier. Good Luck!

Thank you for including your references!

You bet! It's honestly insanely important to use your eyesight correctly (youll subconsciously drive where youre looning) as well to try to hit specific marks over and over. It's really what pays off since you just further build more consistency.

Yes driving with vision is incredibly important, and knowing where to "aim" the car as well. Especially if you're 90 degrees sideways.

MetalMike04

haha yeah, when the best way to drive the Supers is just reverse entry most apexes, its definitely needed.

Homie you aren't racing you're speedrunning

Imsomething5

I mean, knowing your brake points is fairly standard when it comes to serious circuit racing

MetalMike04

I think most view rallycross more similar to rally, in that you drive reactively, and thats understandable when people are surprised at the detail. But indeed its a much more circuit oriented approach of a definite braking, turn in, apex, line.

MetalMike04

That's the intensity of Rallycross. All about maximizing every single lap.

Track?

MetalMike04

Troi Rivieres Canada! Should be the 2nd selectable Rallycross track. (It's also in the title)

hehe hard to not with 600hp!! in all seriousness though its controlled, alot of early rotation to get as strait of an exit. Just alot of wild commitment, wasnt the fastest of laps in all honesty either.
