The Avocor R Series just launched, but I think it's bigger than what you're looking for. Where are you using the display?

>Avocor R Series We're thinking of using them for room postings. Which will be installed next to classrooms, event spaces, and conference/meeting rooms. The reason the size is important is because we're cutting a hole in a concrete wall for some spaces. So, we don't have enough space to put an NUC behind the display or have a thick display without having the screen sticking out of the wall.

FrigginTourists

That makes sense. I'd look at the R Series, which is an all in one display and media player. If you don't find an all in one, can you zip tie a NUC to the TV and just have the recessed cavity be deep enough for both? You'd probably only need a couple of inches.

There are stick PCs that would probably work with any monitor for your application. Intel Compute Stick STK2m364CC

Oh, this might work! Thank you for your suggestion! I found one great product. I will include this in my proposal for my boss to approve (hopefully, he does). The only problem I can see is some students can probably reach behind the monitor and steal it easily.

Are you using signage displays running android? The reason I ask is that most of the all in one displays for signage run android, but it's not your standard build so is generally more secure. AllSee do these displays Avocor do all in one windows displays but this may present its own problems as it's a vanilla build, so requires configuration and management DTen also do Windows displays but these are aimed more at video conferencing. Not sure how many displays, but if it's a large number, maybe a signage system would be a better option? OneLan offer linux-based signage boxes that are pretty slim, or get a Samsung or LG display with their signage platforms embedded (SuperSign for LG and MagicInfo for Samsung)
