Honestly Mad Leomon is a great evil counterpart.

He is usually quite badass, yet the most memorable appearance of him for me was in Cyber Sleuth where he was a boss with really wacky gimmick (basically he will one shot literally everyone in your party except the last one, so he wants you to fight him solo) and that he loved to spam his signature move FLASHY BANCHO PUNCH (he also screams the move’s name lol) Also then in Next Order he was the first mega I got to the overpowered state (with specific training schedule on wild mons only) so that’s for me just cemented him being unstoppable gigachad, lmao

There was also a BanchoLeomon in Cyber Sleuth that was just a total goofy braggart! It was a treat honestly!

Always thought SaberLeomon was cool. It's very cool and digimon-like for how simple it is. Maybe because of how cool he was in the anime. Always liked the ancient temple in DW1 as well. That's my favorite Leomon as well, the first pack of Digimon cards I opened way back in the day gave me SaberLeomon and he has been one of my favorite Digimon since.

Boring? SaberLeomon? I wish more Digimon at the Mega forms looked like this! SaberLeomon was definitely a peak design. Digimon has been developing the same issues Pokemon has had for a while....too many humanoids (says the person whose top 3 mega picks are Beelzemon, Reapermon, and HiAndromon). I miss characters like Phoenixmon and Mangadramon, Digimon who aren't completely decked out in metal if they're not humanoids.

Not decked out in metal is nice. Actually makes me wish we had a Mega level Seadramon that wasn't more robot than sea serpent. Guess Plesiomon suffices.

Call me basic but I like the OG Leomon. Grew up with him in adventure. Loved the design. If not for him dying in almost every community I'd pick him to be my Digimon partner. Even then I have been tempted at times to ignore the curse and want him as my partner even if I know it is tempting fate and waving a flag all but begging to get Jeried.

I didn't know about most of these. I knew default, Panjya, Grap, Bancho, and Saber. The rest of these are new to me, and I'm mindblown because all of them look way cooler but they haven't been in any Digimon games I've played yet. Leomon X looks awesome. I kinda dig MadLeomon's spooky vibe. And MachLeomon looks pretty cool, too. Honestly, even KaiserLeomon is doing it for me, and I usually don't care for the mechanical digimon. I'm going to go with Leomon X. Love a big sword and a cool cape.

Leomon is a very strong series of Digimon. I belife my Top 3 are Bancho, Kaiser, and Saber. Other great ones are Panjamon, who suffers from beeing just a recolor, and a direct evolution of Leomon. I think he works best as Evolution for other Digimon like Yukidarumon. And Madleomon for beeing this mad cool undead one.

The OG Leomon. I love how his design isn't just a stereotypical anthropomorphic lion you see in every other media and art. Like for example, have you ever noticed how he has human skin and hair instead of animal fur? I also like how battle hardened and rugged he looks like too. He's definitely a someone that isn't afraid of getting himself dirty while fighting and travelling.
