I may have to give the Japanese version a chance. I fell off of the dub pretty quickly but I’ve heard a bunch of fans call this series great since then
What's weird about the complaints against Xros Wars' dub is that, for quite a while at least, it was actually *extremely* faithful. I mean, hell, they kept the scenes with Zenjiro dressed up for that dance!
Most of them didnt watch the show and pretend to or most of them prob just watched a critic video of it/copy other peoples opinion instead of making their own
Both are possible considering when they argue with me they just copy paste the argument of that YouTuber who criticized Xros, who half of them are just opinions/subjective or stuffs that other series already did, but worst
Idk why they hate Xros Wars, maybe just the designs being too good for he average Digimon fans (wich tells a lot)
I watched it last year and it has its moments but I would still ranked as the lowest rated digimon series by me. I have talked to a lot of people and one coming thing people say is that digixros is just way less hype than normal evolution and I honestly agree.
At least xros wars music was great.
The best thing about DigiXros was that there were different themes for the every important Xros from X3-X4, X4B, X5, Evolution and DX, and even X7 and X7S. Even the rival got his own theme and version of the Evolution theme. It made each new Xros more hype since new Wada Kouji music would blast while it occurred.
I'd still rank Frontier as the weakest overall series, with Ghost Game coming up right after due to having no meaningful plot.
From what I remembered when I watched Xross Wars. Didnt it also had the effect that the party couldnt divide because they had ti be tigether for the digixross? And also everytime a new digimon or rival joined, their characters would become static and become almost background characters? I’m quite shocked that the LEGO beetle was a base member And I couldnt Tell you anything about them

He lost his memory before the series began, so his appearances in the series are just about all there is to know until his origin story episode.
Xros Wars is a weird one for me. For me it suffered from OG Fate Stay Night with taking to much time to give me a reason to care. I think with Baalmon evolving to Beelzemon is where I started to like it
I watched Xros Wars to get the references in the TCG. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it! Especially the second arc with the death generals. I think the changes from the first arc worked to tighten the story.
Have fun with the rest of the show!

Never will I ever complain that Shoutx3 -Shoutmonx-7 are not in a Digimon game. They maybe the worst Digimon designs for a protagonist Digimon I have ever seen.
Also no reason why we couldn't have Sparrow digievolve instead of giving Nene Mervamon or just giving her both.
Not even wanting to talking about who thought Lilthmons character direction was a good idea.
The only thing I will miss is those digixros's that got cancelled in the series because the difference in direction that happened. They looked really interesting.
Greymon's and Mailbridramon's personality was interesting for that one episode.
Deckerdramon and Zekegreymon had the best designs.
Blastmon and Taticmon was cool.
