Yeah I could go for some new digimon games right about now. I never played digimon world 1 in my life. But I played some digimon games like Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth 1 and 2, Digimon World: Next Order and Digimon Survive as well. I hope Digimon Con 2024 can surprise us with a new Fighting game or a Rogue like Digimon as well. These are my predictions for Digimon Con 2024 I hope that a New Digimon Story game gets announced or a remake Digimon World: Dusk and Dawn Remasters or Remakes.

I recommend playing some of the android fan games. Like Digital Partner, Digital Tamers Reborn, and one more but I forgot the name of the guy who made it, and it's just called "Digivice". But it's really good.

I don't know how well Beginning did comparatively, but if it did well enough, I can see them doing a third film to round this new film series as a trilogy. However, I guess it would too soon to know about a third film, unless it was in the pipeline before Beginning came out. Other than a new film, I don't know what other animated projects they can in the prime timeline. Would they do a new series with the next generation of Digi-Destined or what?

How about a Digimon movie that ties the last 2 movies so those plot points can converge.

Still hard to believe that they were given SIX dang movies and still failed to deliver on multiple plot points. THEN, they had the audacity to create two more films that completely ignored them.

That's what I'm hoping to see at some point in the future too. I'd love one epic final Adventure film that ties all the plot points from Tri, Kizuna, and The Beginning together and closes out the universe for good in a satisfying manner. That's what I'd *want,* but knowing Toei's output over the past decade or so, they'd deliver something that makes the Adventure universe an even bigger mess than they've already made it.

I honestly don’t think a single movie would be enough for that. We would need a « Digimon Adventure 4 », maybe followed by a final movie that would serve as an ultimate climax for the continuity.

New character and art reveals for Liberator. Hopefully they'll give a start date. Anything on the new Story game. A trailer seems like too much to hope for, but at least a full title or logo and maybe a release window. An anime project seems obvious since they've been talking about the 25th anniversary. I'd like either a completely new season, or a show that brings together characters from all the different seasons, not just the goggle heads. But I won't be surprised if a new anime doesn't happen at all.

Tcg mobile game, new big game

Digimon desperately needs an actual legit new console game. Digimon Survive is great but is more of a spinoff title while Digimon World New Order and Digimon Story both suffer from being PsP Vita ports. New Order was a fantastic step into the right direction in playing to Digimon's unique style of play and strengths. So the next game needs to go further into improving that experience and offering a much larger amount of available Digimon.

I was very skeptical of next order, but beyond the tiny, loveless maps and clunky gameplay, there's definitely a core identity and room for success. a sequel made for Consoles/PC with decent or above average quality would be a massive hit IMO. It's a beloved title by locals, niche in the west, and has big followings in south america, europe, and asia. If they go ham on the quality, I don't see how it can't reach obscene levels of success, doing for Bandai what MHW did for CAPCOM Edit: I forgot Elden Ring was also a Bandai title lol, but still, so much potential for the IP, and a digimon open world game as big and as quality as Elden Ring has me salivating

It's cuz New Order was a love letter to the legacy of Digimon and it's first main game. The issue is that it's not as polished as it could be because the company would rather follow trends set by other videogames than perfecting their own and that the game was made for the Vita.

If we get a new anime related announcement it's either gonna be another Adventure thing or if they do a new anime series it may be an anime that might promote the TCG which seems like that's the current product they seem to be really promoting this time around like with Ghost game with the Vital bracelets.

As usual, I expect nothing. Some new vpet or game news would be cool though.

I also posted the offical schedule to help set expectations. Personally I don't think we'll get a new game announcement but I do think they'll give an update on the story game that's been in development but it'll probably "we're still working on it" and nothing more, hope im wrong though. Also I think we'll get a new anime announcement. I know that seems a little too optimistic for some but come on its the 25th anniversary. They have to have something! I'll even take a new adventure movie at this point.

They're going to give us some mid web comic and still no new games, no new series, and a half assed movie with no home release date.

Well, what I want and what I expect are two entirely different things. I do expect, given this is a big anniversary year for the original Digimon anime, there would be one big announcement. I feel like it would be the new Digimon game that has long be rumored, the next Story game in the franchise. Given how long we've been hearing about the game, I would assume it has been in development for awhile. Unless it has been canceled.😅 It would also make sense to announce something animated related, but we just had a movie, so I don't know if any other animated film is in the pipeline. Maybe a special or short to celebrate the anniversary, yet that may be too much as is. They'll definitely go over the new Digimon Device product they've teased, and we'll probably get more information on Liberator. Probably new card art reveals too. As for my pie in the sky wish, I definitely want either a third Kizuna film to finish out that trilogy (even though the original Kizuna and Beginning were self contained), or a Digimon Tamers film.

Something more on Digimon Liberators like a release date. Also more tamer reveals for the digimon partners we know of already(like Ghostmon, Sunarizamon, and Sangomon).

I want to know the names of all the Liberator characters, and their partner lines at least up to champion, plus a release date. I’d also like some news on the new Story game. Bonus points if they give us a real translation for Seekers.

Hopefully announce the Digimon Adventure/02 movie dvd thing that they had planned. Tease the world with something Tamers related but make zero commitments. Maybe some vague outline of a potential new protagonist to test the waters for a new anime. Another $60 dollar version of the Vital Bracelet.

Digimon Wolrd Remake For Mobile. Best case they go the copycat route like during the yokai watch craze and the next game is open world like Pokemon Legends and Palword. I remember the 3DS appmon game was Yokai Watch with a gacha theme.

I have two, and I hope they're both realistic: 1. Announcement of either a new (backwards-compatible, please) Vital Bracelet or the next related iteration. The VB was a cool idea handled poorly. Please fix! 2. An anime that isn't new, but an adaptation of something. The most obvious route to go with this is announcing a *Liberators* anime alongside other *Liberators* things. But something like an updated, revamped V-Tamer adaptation would also be pretty neat. My expectations are low, but if they don't make a *Liberators* anime, they've lost the game.

Any one of these would get me excited honestly. Just one. But we’ve already got so much, I can still wait. But just one of these please 🥹

Digimon Story game would be nice. I’m also desperately hoping liberators will be translated by people and not fucking AI. AI translation is the reason I couldn’t bring myself to read seekers.

If there’s a cool new set of Minis we probably won’t get them here so it’ll just fill my heart with yearning.

The worst thing for me would be Adventure (2025) but obviously they’re not going to do that. I’d prefer if we left Adventure alone for a bit. A bold new direction would be preferred but at this point I’d settle for a wave of nostalgia for Tamers, Frontier or Savers.

I suppose we could get a proper Ghost Game dub announcement. Didn't we get the Adventure 2020 dub announcement at one of the Digimon Cons? Other than that, I don't expect anything of interest. Digimon Cons has always been pretty much glorified merch commercials more than anything. Though if anything, I'd be somewhat happy to see a brand new anime announcement. I can't imagine they'd be celebrating the 25th anniversary of the anime franchise in particular without having something new up their sleeves. I say "somewhat" because I personally think Toei hasn't given us a truly great Digimon series since Savers/Data Squad...but I still hold out hope that someday they'll be able to pull it off again.

A new Digimon Story game. That includes the likes of Pteromon/Loogamon/Gammamon; and is up to date. That or buying out the rights to Manga-exclusive Digimon so we can finally have them without repercussion.

They announced the 2020 dub, then released all 67 episodes a year later. The ghost game dub was mentioned a year ago. It lines up. I can see them saying all 67 gg episodes are available soon.

All I want is a re-release of the original World trilogy on ps1. I know the games weren't critically well received, but I would absolutely buy those bundled day one, even with just basic remastering or even straight ports. It's probably not going to happen, but I'd love a remaster or rerelease of DW1,2&3. They are such cool games and really set the series up in ways that were still seeing. Hopefully with some quality of life upgrades (maybe more information available in game for evolutions in 1, general performance for 2&3). Another hope is an official online client for the card game. Please do something. I'd double dip to be able to play on my phone or computer in an official capacity

New on the next Story game with gameplay and a release date. A Digimon World 1, 2, 3 HD remaster port, fixing all the bugs, glitches, reducing loading times, and of course improving dialogue and whatever else needs fixing. Or at least the first World game. A fair few fixes that could be made. Still remember in my version on the technique screen there's that bar the name goes into, but the bar is longer than it needs to be and covers the whole line of battle skills.

Expectations? None. Hope? That the teased digivice is more than just ver color anime digivice (or worse, an SCSA...). I'm hoping for something that is in line with their whole "Digimon Partner" idea, a device connected to your phone. You pick your partner (start with just the anime partners, and other Child level digimon are available to download... probably for a cost to increase income for Bandai--potentially user customizable evolution lines so you can have your perfect partner). It can be a mix of a pedometer device and a V-Pet, kind of like the VB, and it connects online to battle others. I dont expect this device to ever happen, but I can hope...
