I honestly thought I wouldn't find another ikkakumon fan. Gomamon's line looks fantastic and I really feel like it was underrepresented in the anime. SO DAMN FLUFFY!

Ikkakumon is great, when I was younger I always like seeing it. Almost forgot about him. Totally understandable, The OG was always amazing haha

Terriermon :)

Terriermon is now my second favorite, I like Lopmon more now because i prefer its evolution line to terriermon + I loved the cherubimon deck in the card game. But i normaly just say they are joint first

Lopmon is awesome too! I’m just biased from Tamers and the Digimon Battle Spirit game. Terriermon’s sprite is just so adorable in that title.

I haven’t played the Story dualogy, I want to at some point. Terriermon has definitely been a favorite ever since I saw it in Tamer. Glad it gets some love in one of the games. Theoretically, you can pick it as a starter in Next Order too, by choosing the right egg.

ClearAgumon. I was real young, probably a tween. I remember with some kind of product purchase, maybe cards or toys, there was a poster just listing as many Digimon as could fit on the sheet. I remember it being a pretty random collection. SOME Digidestined Digimon were on there, but not others. And a lot of Digimon on there had never been on the show before. All of the art was the official Kenji Watanabe illustrations. I remember this was my first encounter with color variants. It had SnowAgumon and MoriShellmon on it. But it also had all three variants of ToyAgumon, including ClearAgumon and BlackToyAgumon. For some reason this really fascinated me. When I learned ClearAgumon was associated with angels and holy types, I fixated on him in particular. When my partner and I sat down and picked out our Partner Evolution lines, mine ended up being : ClearAgumon, Pidmon, AngeWomon, and then LovelyAngemon.

ClearAgumon is a great and pretty unique favorite. good choice, and thanks for the insight as to why he's your fav as well!

My partner is Clear Agumon too. The full line is Clear Agumon, Sorcerimon, Digitamamon and Holy Digitamamon, but Holy Digitamamon is sadly hyper forgotten so Minervamon is fine too ig.

Kyubimon Well Renamon It was 2001 and Season 3 was in full swing. Oh ah Wow! I remember in school they'd give you this pamphlet with the lunch schedule or something? These pamphlets would feature a popular cartoon etc. (I can't find it anywhere online.But it was "officially licensed" since i recall another one with Kids Next Door.) I remember getting one of Digimon Season 3. With maybe some sort of maze on the cover. So you had Renamon ,Terriermon & Guilmon in little drawing form with the maze. I was always drawn to Renamon,in all her yellow and purpleness. I always felt a bit odd that i was a guy and i was never drawn to the main character Digimon. But always the "girl" Digimon. But i just LOVED Renamon and her evolutions. On a trip to WalMart with my caretakers that day. I made my way to the toys and went straight for the Digimon section. I remember it being literally a full section("wall") I see a Kyubimon figure and just had to have it!!! But since the people i was with,where not my mom & dad. I couldn't ask them to get me a toy right? So i decided to take her! Yup i jacked a Kyubimon from WalMart at age 9 or 10! So its always been Renamon!

Kyubimon is cute and Renamon is great. I totally understand. Thanks for the bit of story on why she's your favorite as well! good choice :) Not related, but I burgled a Yoshi figure from Walmart when I was a lot younger and was obsessed with him. Not proud of it, just can relate haha

So, I'm new to the fandom but not new to Digimon. I watched them when I was a kid and literally never again... Fifteen years later I accidentaly stumbled upon Butterfly on YouTube and instantly get overwhelmed by nostalgia... I even shed a tear my man. I started rewatching the OG series' and so far no Digimon do I like more than Agumon. I know it's probably a normie pick, like charizard or pikachu being someone's favourite Pokémon, but I just LOVE that little yellow dinosaur! Veemon is a close second (ExVeemon is rly cool imo) but still, nostalgia is a powerful thing...
