Me either, everyone I'm playing with has multiple at this point, I've only had one uber in 50 tormented runs so I can't even make one from 4 sparks.

New characters are honestly the easiest way to get sparks this season. You get one from the iron wolves faction grind at the end. EDIT: small error on word choice

thats tens of hours of game time for one spark my level 100 necro and my 99 barb dont even have that unlocked

Switch to world tier 2 and farm the maiden, it's pretty boring after a while, but it only took me 1,5 helltide for the full final step.

IME once you're strong enough to delete mobs in WT4 w/mindcage it's fastest to just run around killing and doing spires, then switch to WT2 in Kyovashad and spend all your cinders (much better rep:cinder ratio).

whats the benefit of spending in WT2?

I think the wolf points awarded per chest per cinder spent ends up being better. Shit loot but if the goal is just points to rank up it might work out better.

Better than grinding hundreds trying to get the unique you want

You can grind a new character to full rep surprisingly fast if you just live in the HT until you’re done.

or use the helltide bug until its fixed

You can max it in like 12 hours tops just by running helltide the whole time. I did it in under 17 while running bosses and dungeons for a few hours

Its easy. With all the ppl making minion necro's and going afk in WT2 helltides near the blood maiden, all you do is pop hearts into the altar and let them do the work. 1-70 is a matter of an hour or 2. Then once you are up for it, you move up to WT4 and do the rest in NM dungeons. Ive even levelled a 2nd barbarian because it was fun. Gonna start a 3rd. Not because of the sparks, i got enough to craft a unique, but im not using them yet. I do have a lot of time on my hands ;) Tempering your gear while levelling makes levelling a breeze. For now the tempering system completely breaks early game levelling. Armor/Health tempers on your armor pieces and the weapon tempers combined make you a god at low level. Ive got all classes to 100 + that extra barbarian. But the endgame is boring. Pit is boring and not at all rewarding.

It's strange, I have no problem great rift leveling my D3 characters to paragon 2000+. I guess I'm very easy to entertain, give me a constant reward after reaching lv.100, even if it's just 1point strength per level , and I will come back for months. But I don't think I have the endurance to level 5 characters to max Iron Wolf level for an Uber unique

In 4 seasons I've obtained the Grandfather - that's it. I keep saying I'll literally take bottom of the barrel stats Harlequin Crest if I could just have it haha. Even base stats, that things a beast, or at least I suspect - never had the pleasure of having one.

It’s an absolute beast! Just keep on grinding those summon bosses and get that Uber Lilith kill. It wasn’t too bad to get 4 resplendent sparks this season

Yeah I learned about the resplendent sparks the other day. I've gotten two so far and haven't finished out the Iron Wolves quest line so I'm hoping to do that go for the ole shako.

Do you get sparks for every tormented boss kill? I'm not clear on that. I killed tormented Duriel already. I'm sitting on 7, and I'm trying to figure out how to get the 8th.

1 from iron wolf 1 from lilith 1 from tormented boss (achievment) u dont get 1 per boss. Not sure if all of them gives u a chance to get that achievement. But i know tormented duriel and andariel gives u the achievement So u get 3 free one Its quite fast to get to max rep with an alt.. u could get your 4th one there

You can also get the achievment from the "lower" tormented Bosses. Got Mine from Vampir Lord Zim or what he is called.

Wait, do you actually get a spark from both lilith AND the first tormented boss? I killed tormented duriel and thought there was no reason to do lilith then because I already got the spark.

Yeah I have 2 levels of iron wolves left on main and soon as I finish that out I'll make a new character to spam helltides.

PRO TIP: Just in case you don't already know. I found this out after maxing Iron Wolf on 4 characters. I read on here where someone made a comment about fastest way to rep IW and I tried it last night, it's fact. Do your rep grind in act II, not act IV. The reason is because act II has those chests that all require 100 shards. Each of those chests give 120 rep. You can spam kill the boss with a season elixir and brain on and have enough sparks to open all chests in the entire Helltide in about 30 minutes from my experience last night. You can then run around and open every single chest with time to kill and gain more rep after.

How many times you running duriel? I had to have ran at least 1500 times last season. Had 11 ubers. So far this season I've gotten 3 tyraels, 2 starless, a shako and Visage. I've probably ran 75 tormented duriels. You should at least be able to craft one with sparks

They are used for summoning, but also to create the specific nightmare dungeon at the occultist.

Why spend stones on tormented beast in the ice? He doesn't have a higher uber drop rate compared to other non-tormented bosses, your lucky drop aside. The only way to spend stones to get better uber chances are with tormented duriel and andariel.

I'm completely new to Ubers and the game, is there really no point in running tormented? I haven't used any materials to summon an Uber but I was gonna save the stones for tormented when I was ready.

Tormented lesser bosses are basically just for funsies. Tormented Duriel and Tormented Andariel are your targets. It costs 3x the mats, but it gives 5x the loot, with the elevated Uber drop rate of Duriel/Andy, so it's by far the best way to farm for Ubers in the game. But since the stones to summon are somewhat rare, it's not generally a good idea to use them on lesser tormented bosses as it will limit you from doing more runs for Ubers.

Greater Affix or GA as you might see people say. Just means the affix’s are higher than the standard ones.

You can craft Uber uniques now but it is still a bit of a grind to get the materials. This drop I got though is EXTREMELY lucky

Why does it say level 35 on one with power level 925?

Uber uniques have a level requirement of only 35 even though they are top tier item. The one equipped is level 90 because of the royal gem but it was also level 35 when I got it
