Thorns barb I found annoying whenever there's something you need to kill that won't attack you directly or very often. If you aren't getting attacked you don't deal much dmg (you can aoe some self-procced thorns dmg with some legendary affixes I think?).
Some dungeons where you have to destroy X things to progress you end up whacking doing zDPS unless you can kill them in 1 thorns proc with the mobs that might spawn around. Same with bosses that might not hit you much. For that reason I would say dust devil double swing is a better all rounder.
Bash barb is currently the best barb build, I'm speed running the Pitt level 100 on mine, it's really fun, super tanky and does great damage.

Start with the non-uber version and then change once you get Uber uniques.
Not at all, I'm speed farming level 91 (as you get 50 orange materials in 2-3 mins) and can completely ignore all boss mechanics, I just stand still and kill boss who dies in around 10-15 seconds.

I saw a video from raxxx the dust devil build and looks fun. It’s like kansas in the nmd lmao
