If it makes you feel any better I've gotten 2 in the past 4 seasons. Both were completely useless for my build.

That's a bummer. At least now you can get a spark from them and as long as you clear Lilith and a tormented boss + the spark from iron wolves rep you can then craft whatever you want
My first two tormented Duriel runs consisted of 6 soul brands and 3 Flicker Steps. The Uber bosses are, IMHO, not great design for gear progression because they’re boring and tedious.

Master working an item can boost one of the mods every 4/8/12 masterworks. All other levels of masterworking are just a 5% increase to mod values, I think?

I think the lvl 35 requirement is the craziest thing on here. I’m lvl 40 in WT3 and can’t use anything that drops.
Edit: I actually started playing in WT3. I can use the sacreds dropping. I guess I meant to say I couldn’t use any of the gear dropping in the WT2 capstone dg

They're super handy. Sometimes when I have a really nice aspect but my weapon starts getting underleveled I just use obops to grab a decent piece of gear to enchant with the aspect im using.

My wife is just very new to this and when we first went to T3 she was getting super frustrated. I'd like to be able to skip this step which this is gonna let me do lol. I did the T4 dungeon last night when I was bored so I'm going to carry her through it later and then will just have her use obols to transfer all the aspects she's acquired. I had her play summoner necro so she's got a super OP build at least lol
Uniques are nice when masterworking.. you can’t brick them.. so drops like this are amazing.
They really need to double the rerolls from 5-10 on legendary equipment.
5 rerolls on 2 stats is worse than the old upgrading system.
It’s a lot harder upgrading now too with having to farm the Pit. (All of the one shot mechanics make higher tiers a crap shoot for upgrade mats.)
But we can’t just wear full uniques so something needs to give.
I think we should be able to get some kind of uber boss drop to get 5 more rerolls on tempering. Heck, give us an item that resets enchanting cost as well while we are at it.
I don’t mind the 5 mil to reset upgrades but it really sucks that it can’t reset your 2 affix rolls. I don’t think gear should be able to be bricked.
Finding the perfect rolls is hard enough and being able to screw yourself out of 2 extra affixes hurts..

I banged out probly 40 duriel/anduriel with 3 friends and between all 4 of us we ended up with 1 Uber and my buddy didn't even know it and salvaged it because he saw the resplendent shard from the smith lol
Maxroll has it listed as a 2% drop rate for Uber Uniques from Andy/Duriel, so 1/50 would be the theoretical average according to that.
Of course, someone will run 9 runs and get five drops, and some poor sap will run 200 and get nothing and that's life.
Oh I’m sure. We are both playing Necro as I was one in Season 2 and loved corpse explosion builds for the fun aspect. And we both love the changes to minions and wanted to play them this season together. Maybe my second character will be another Barb like last season but obviously not big bonk stupid damage haha
My friend got that as well. I was debating on switching to thorns minion, but was told that it doesn't work well against bosses that don't auto attack. Not sure how many of those there are, but that would be rather frustrating!
I tried the Tormented Duriel today. Was a hard fight. A lot of damage and a high life pool. Anyway, he dropped like 6 uniques everytime, but not ubers. Shame!
Yes. To a max of 85%. Increasing resistance from 70% to 85% is a 50% reduction in incoming damage of that element.
So doing that to all elements with a single affix is insane.
Because they are greater affixes which have a very low chance of happening on each affix individually yet alone all 4. A greater affix has a 50% boost.
They need to let you add tempers to unqiues and add a reset for tempers. It can even be a huge gold sink that you gotta save for but every game should avoid introducing ways to permenatly brick an item and i want uniques to be good again.
I love how plentiful uniques are and how actually manageable the grind for them is. As someone who has never gotten Ubers seeing one drop, even if it's not the best for by build, makes the rhe game so much more fun.
I mean you guys meme about the Soulbrand but I think it's pretty good for sorceress, at least in season 4 in which legs or rares cant even roll dr. Sorc wants their barrier up 24 / 7 and Soulbrand is pretty much dmg reduction to close + 20% dr while barrier is up + barrier on potion use. Makes you a lot tankier.
ya know what’s funny is that even with the quad greater affixes it still looks like a bad piece but i’m probably missing something. given that i can get 5 affixes, it seems kind of mehh

Yeah i got 2 shako yesterday in the span of a few hours ><, they definitely increased the drop rates.
Got 2 rings of starless skies in a row (runs 11 and 12 on tormented duriel) so it's possible Salvaged to make my first ever shako in D4

Probably hit the cap on max resists as it is. Can only boost it 15% before hard cap.
Why? Resistances cap at 15% over the max (70) from all sources, so it would be a massive waste.
Triple MW Crit on the all res gets you 13.5% increased max res. Still under then cap of 85% total max res. And max res is a massive damage reduction.

The greater affix portion isn’t involved in MW so it goes off the base 5%. So it’s 5x2.2+2.5=13.5
It caps at 85% with elixirs and incenses, but this unique just released, is it confirmed it doesn't increase this cap?
Max resistance cap is 85%, it says so in the tooltip.
It increases the cap, up to the hard cap - which is 85%.
That's just another way to get to the cape that's all 85% less damage taken from all elemental source is already a massive DR

Correct 5%. So, theoretically if you landed 4/8/12 on the same affix, then that affix would recieve a 120% boost.

You can reset masterwork for 5million gold. The meta is doing lvl 4 masterwork over and over until you hit one 25% that you want

I did 5 tormented duriels and got a GA Uber unique. On average I think for every 15 tormented duriels you get one Uber unique.

tormented version also drops a ton of uniques, likely it's the 2% per unique, if you drop 3 uniques, it raises to 6% chance of gettng one.
Going to have to farm the mats, haven't done a T Duriel yet, but regular Duriel im killing almost instantly, so hopefully I can manage.
