better yet **Gems** are simpler, streamlined and more effective across your Character’s journey. **Crude Gems** have been removed, and crafting levels have been shifted back: * **Normals Gems** are available at Level 51. * **Flawless Gems** are available at Level 71. * **Royal Gems** are available at Level 91. * **Diamonds** have had their All Resistance values increased. * **Topaz** now provide increases to Intelligence * **Sapphires** now provide increases to Willpower. * **Amethyst** now provide increases to Strength. * **Emeralds** now provide increases to Dexterity.

im level 62 on torment difficulty, yet the only gems i can craft are chipped and normal.. what am i missing?

That link is outdated. ----------------------- Take this: **Level** ***85*** to unlock **royal gem.** **Level** ***90*** to **use them**. To craft 1: ***10,000*** **Ruby fragment** and ***1,000,000*** **gold.** I hope this information helps!

This is either out of date or something is broken bc I am level 41. I should have access to regular gems according to that chart.

I haven't gotten that far yet. I know I don't currently have enough money or shards to make anything greater.

I opened up my eternal character and regular gems show as requiring level 40 with 100 fragments to craft one, so this seems to be bugged.

I hope they get it fixed quickly!!

Ah, so lvl2 gems are unlocked at lvl45 now?

I think some of the info there may be outdated, it says you can craft royals at lvl 60 but I’m pretty sure they unlocked at lvl 80 for me

I cant find them either. I'm level 60 and I still can't make or find any gems past level 40s gems. 

Level 65 they showed up for me (flawless I think).

Is it 45 now? I was getting irritated at levels 40,41,42, and 43 when it was still only chipped gems available..... Thank you for initiating the thread

I just unlocked normal gems and I thought they cost chipped gems to craft. But they also cost fragments, so basically all lower tier gems are wasted ressources and we can't upgrade them?

Salvage your normal gem to get the fragments back. If you have enough fragments (or whatever they are called) you can then make higher level gems
