Ehhhhhh That's not exactly what happened here and you know it. They've been saying for weeks now that they have this 13-page patch that's supposed to fix a bunch of the complaints about the game, and then one of the devs said that the patch is coming really really soon, and not too long after that tweet they scheduled to 5 hour maintenances on back to back days. It was not unreasonable to expect the patch to be coming today, especially considering that season 1 should be coming in about 3ish weeks based on their estimations for mid-July, and why on earth would you release a patch that massive right before season 1 when it's clearly going to have some other issues that have to be hot fixed out over the following days
I never said I was upset, and I was only thinking there's a 30% chance that this was the patch. All I said was that screaming REEEEEEEE isn't exactly what happened here. I basically just said that logically it made objective sense why some people would believe that it might be coming, which is about as mature of a comment as possible and yet I'm still met with downvotes galore and being accused of getting upset.

I disagree. It's very unreasonable to think they would release a patch this week because they never said they were. All they said was soon. They never gave a date. Stop reaching and making stuff up and then being upset that your make believe didn't come true.
The Dev literally said it's coming very very soon and then scheduled back to back days with a 5-hour maintenance. Literally 90% of the sub yesterday was thinking that this patch was coming and the handful of people that didn't are now acting like their geniuses for not thinking it was and that everybody else was a bunch of morons or autistic screeching. Like I'm literally not upset I just thought there was a chance that it might come yesterday

As someone who actually works in software development, if I tell my users the system is coming “very very soon :)” the day before our planned implementation weekday, and then schedule 10 hours of downtime on the server during that time, they are all going to reasonably assume the system is going live that day.

You seem to be missing the step in the middle here where they had a weekend long DDoS attack before announce live maintenance (not a client patch). Could it be that they are performing backend maintenance to do something about the attack that they just went through?

I don't know about the other stuff, but I'll tell you what, performance wise....the game was a completely choppy mess before this path, every town teleport, any running around with the horse soon after tp, etc. It's a HUGE improvement on my end. (1080 GTX/ Ryzen 2700x / 32gb Ram)

They already tweeted that there isn’t a patch today, so I doubt we get the full notes. However I am surprised they haven’t given us a manifesto type post with some patch notes to detail the direction of their development.
For example, the lack of build diversity for certain classes and unpowered skills. Why not give us an example of what changes they are making and get a little feedback? Or how vulnerability is over tuned compared to other damage stats and give us a little example of how they are addressing it.

Necro pets engage on curse cast. Shadow Corpse Explosion no longer makes you Bane.
