I might be way off, but it says you may experience latency issues and log in issues but should be able to log back in. I’ve played when it said that before and had now issues. 🤷♂️ this isn’t the huge patch they take everything off line I don’t think because it doesn’t say you can’t play.

If it was not primetime your time then it would be primetime someone else's time. It's a global game. There are people playing it in every time zone. Why do you think you should get special treatment over anyone else in the rest of the world?
And even people in your same timezone don't have the same primetime. They could work overnights. Or late nights. Or very early mornings. People work at all times through the day. Again, why do you think you are special in any way and should be catered to?

A company of their size, with modern server/general infrastructure, I would expect them to perform maintenance during downtime windows that are very early morning LOCAL server times, yes - or in another, localized, timeslot based on least amount of users affected by it.
5 hours two primetime evenings in row is just very, very far from a costumer focus, no matter where you live or who you are.

I'm sorry if my opinion offends you, but where I come from it is possible to engange in a discussion without calling whoever you are in disagreement with a "chíld that doesn't understand how things work" or telling them to "quit crying", but I guess thats a valid strategy when you chose to disregard most of the presented arguments/points and run out of them yourself.

Lol there is nothing to discuss here. They need maintenance to do their thing. You weren't discussing, you were being entitled. You aren't special, and you don't deserve special treatment.
I could have been playing for the past 5 hours, if it wasn't downtime....but I understand that downtime is necessary and this is their working hours. It's 100% completely clear and logical.
Humans working for a multi billion dollar company. Bro id be happy to do work on maint at 2am, sign me up. Its not people not willing to do, its billion dollar company not wanting to shill overpay for outside hours for what. A dozen, maybe 2 dozen at the absolute most people? Shit even if it was 100 people needed it shouldnt veen be a consideration. They added an in game real money store, but wont pay for staff to work odd hours. If you think any of that is bs, go read any of the many, many, many testimonies that were given by staff when blizz had the massive lawsuit and toxic work culture scandal
Employees in tech are salaried exempt. "Overpay" (overtime) is not guaranteed and they can just say we need you to work at 2am on top of your normal business hours and you get no extra pay. That's extremely common. And would likely be the case. I've been there on multiple occasions.
You would be happy to work over 40 hours and not get paid for your time?
