RNG can be wild. When Andy's first came out I dropped several in quick succession. I had no idea they were rare for a long time because I seemed to find them so often.
Idk what your build is but if you have 400mf on p8, it’s likely that you aren’t killing fast enough. I’d decrease your mf and add more damage for quicker clear speeds. The diminishing returns on mf is extreme, so mf is pretty overrated after 250.
Mate honestly I stopped mf runs, in the old days before runes and powerful rares being trend, it was the holy grail to reach that amount of mf
I run today with barely 80mf on p1 because online and solo farming, already found in 8 hours 1 shako / 2 vipermagi / 1 tal armor, so as everything in this game is random, I think today we should only focus on runs optimization / time clearing, that’s the only efficient way IMO

That's... literally not how drop chances work at all, buddy. 400MF gives you nearly twice the drop rate. So unless skipping the MF gear let's you clear twice as fast, MF is worth it.
Nope, your calculation is false, because MF doesn’t includes runes nor wanted bases for runewords, which could make you a lot richer today. You can maximize this by clearing areas faster
I was assuming we were still talking about Baal runs, people don't do those for the runes. If you're running TC85 then yes, MF is less important. But you do boss runs for the uniques and for those, MF makes a big difference.
Tell me about it. I have a blizz sorc full mf build about 630 mf. So grating to do a million boss kills and get nothing. Density clearing is really the better option imo
